Carroll provided 11 points (4-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 35 minutes in a 114-106 win over the Celtics on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors have monitored Carroll's minutes carefully for most of the season after his first campaign in Toronto was sullied by a knee injury, but he seems to be entirely free of restrictions now. He's played no fewer than 34 minutes in any of the team's last four games, and two of those contests even came as part of a back-to-back set. Carroll is averaging 13.5 points (on 47.2% shooting), 4.5 rebounds, 3.3 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 1.0 assist per game during that span, and could be worth scooping up in most formats where available now that his minutes seem to be stable game to game.

Carroll scored 26 points (7-12 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT) while adding eight rebounds and a steal in 34 minutes during Sunday's 129-122 loss to the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
It was his best scoring performance of the season, and his first game with 20 or more points since late November. Carroll's had his minutes and production limited so far this season as the Raptors try to keep him healthy, but he's averaged 38 minutes a night over the last three games, and it looks like the team might finally be letting him take on a full workload again. He's still only a complementary player in an offense dominated by DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, but his numbers should start trending back up in 2017.

Carroll will start at power forward for Sunday's matchup with the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
For the majority of the season so far, Carroll either rested or had a minutes restriction during the second game of back-to-back sets. However, despite logging 41 minutes on Saturday against the Bulls, Carroll is slated to remain in the starting, as the Raptors go with a small lineup that includes Norman Powell and Carroll at small forward and power forward, respectively. Carroll still may be a risky play due to his history with back-to-backs, but it appears he's slated to have a bigger workload than what he's used to.

Carroll was restricted to 20 minutes in Thursday's game, as it was the second game of a back-to-back, TSN's Josh Lewenberg reports. He finished with two points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
He didn't quite get to his 20-minute cap, but it was a step in the right direction, as Carroll was allowed to play in back-to-back games Wednesday and Thursday -- something he had not been doing to this point in the season. Of course, his production suffered dramatically Thursday, so it wasn't a great night from a fantasy perspective. However, with Patrick Patterson suffering a knee strain Thursday, Carroll will be a crucial part of the Raptors' frontcourt depth in the short term, so it would not be surprising if he continued to play almost every game going forward. Even with the lack of depth, he will still likely be kept under 30 minutes per game.

Carroll contributed 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist across 28 minutes in a 121-111 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
It was one of the more complete games of the season for Carroll, who recorded his first block since Nov. 28 and logged his most rebounds since Nov. 6, perhaps thanks in part to seeing more time than usual at power forward against the undersized Warriors lineup. Coach Dwane Casey doesn't seem quite comfortable just yet with consistently handing Carroll 25-plus minutes per game, and it seems likely that he'll continue to rest for one half of back-to-back sets while the team looks to manage his workload coming off knee surgery last winter. With that in mind, don't be surprised if Carroll sits out Thursday against the Suns, which would afford Norman Powell a spot start at small forward.

Carroll supplied 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three rebounds and two steals across 22 minutes in a 116-104 win over the Nets on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors have been able to steer clear of back-to-back sets lately, which has allowed Carroll to play in five straight games, but his playing time has somewhat surprising trended down nonetheless. He's been held under 25 minutes in each of the last four games, but on the heels of Tuesday's strong outing, the Raptors may be willing to loosen the reins on him a bit.

Carroll will be sidelined for Friday's game against the Celtics due to a sore right knee.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Carroll will sit out the second game of a back-to-back set. The team is officially calling it a sore right knee, but he is essentially being rested. Norman Powell will presumably replace him at small forward. Carroll figures to be ready to go when the Raptors take on the Bucks on Monday.

Carroll, who played 33 minutes in Thursday's 124-110 win over the Timberwolves, is expected to be held out Friday against the Celtics for rest purposes, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll was effective in a supporting role in the victory, offering 10 points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals. He's now seen 33 minutes in both of his last two games, but in an effort to lighten his workload after he missed most of last season following arthroscopic knee surgery, Carroll has sat out one half of each of the Raptors' prior four back-to-back sets in 2016-17. Though he's scheduled to miss his fifth game of the campaign Friday, coach Dwane Casey suggested that the restriction could be lifted for the forward, which would certainly improve his rest-of-season outlook. Norman Powell is expected to start at small forward in Carroll's stead Friday.

Carroll (rest) will play in Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
It was reported earlier Thursday that Carroll was expected to be rested during one of the games of the Raptors' current back-to-back set. He'll take the court Thursday against the Timberwolves, but is then expected to be rested against the Celtics on Friday. Look for him to take on his normal role as the team's starting small forward, likely pushing towards minutes in the mid-to-upper 20's.

Carroll is expected to sit out either Thursday's game against the Timberwolves or Friday's matchup with the Celtics for rest, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll has been sitting out one game of back-to-back sets all season, so this move was fully expected. Coach Dwane Casey has yet to determine which game he'll hold Carroll out of, so consider him questionable for Thursday's tilt with the Timberwolves for the time being. We should get a better indication of his availability as tipoff approaches, but if he doesn't give it a go, look for Norman Powell to jump into the starting lineup.
