Carroll scored zero points (0-3 FG) with four rebounds, two steals, and one assist across 30 minutes in Wednesday's 105-96 loss to the Wizards.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll was the worst of the worst in a game that found the Raptors trailing by 23 points already in the second quarter. The veteran forward has struggled with poor outings throughout the season, but this was the first time he failed to tally even a single point while recording 30 or minutes of play. Averaging under 10 points per game on the season, Carroll should be looked at as only a very risky play in DFS formats.

Carroll put up 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-5 3Pt), nine rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes Wednesday during a 112-109 loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll snapped out of a funk Wednesday. After shooting just 21.9 percent from beyond the arc over his last 10 games, Carroll was perfect with his three-point shot on Wednesday. He'll look to keep the hot hand against the Pistons on Sunday.

Carroll compiled 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block across 32 minutes in a 103-95 win over the Nets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
After averaging just 5.6 points on 26.3 percent shooting from the field in the previous five games, Carroll desperately needed a strong outing to regain the goodwill of coach Dwane Casey, and delivered in a big way Sunday. He was part of a balanced Raptors scoring attack that saw four players produce at least 15 points, and his three steals also led the team. DeMar DeRozan (ankle) ended up missing his fourth straight game with the injury, and if he remains sidelined for the second half of the back-to-back set Monday against the Clippers, the Raptors may need another solid scoring game from Carroll to pick up another win.

Carroll supplied zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, and one steal across 18 minutes during Friday's 102-94 loss to the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll has gone ice cold over the past seven contests, six of which DeMar DeRozan (ankle) has missed. In the six games prior to Friday's loss, Carroll was hitting just 15.4 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc on route to 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds across 26.8 minutes per game, and couldn't muster a point against the Magic. Carroll may pick up his shooting again once DeRozan comes back though, considering that he was hitting 37.9 percent of his three-point attempts in the 11 contests leading up to DeRozan's injury. The Raptors face the struggling Nets on Sunday with the possibility of DeRozan's return, so we'll see how Carroll reacts depending on the situation.

Carroll (neck) finished Friday's 113-78 loss to the Hornets with two points (1-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one steal, and one block across 26 minutes of action.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll may still have been feeling some residual pain in his neck, as he shot only one of seven from the field, and snagged just one rebound. Carroll has now logged 11 total points over his past three games after averaging 18.8 from Jan. 8 to Jan. 15. His next chance to bounce back with come Sunday against the Suns.

Carroll (neck) will start at small forward in Friday's game against the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
This is merely confirmation of what Carroll indicated after the Raptors' morning shootaround, as the veteran forward said that despite the fact that he was still dealing with some neck stiffness, he'd still be able to play through the pain. While he'll hold down his usual starting role, the Raptors could look to limit Carroll's workload, especially if he struggles to the extent he did prior to his early departure in Wednesday's loss to the 76ers. In that contest, he finished with zero points in 23 minutes while shooting 0-of-6 from the field, including an 0-of-4 showing behind the arc.

Carroll (neck) confirmed that he would play Friday against the Hornets, Mike Ganter of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll indicated that his neck was feeling a bit stiff after he was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the 76ers with the injury, but since the Raptors are shorthanded in the frontcourt with Patrick Patterson (knee) and Lucas Nogueira (concussion) expected to sit out and Jared Sullinger likely on a minute restriction coming off a long-term absence following a fractured foot, he'll attempt to tough it out. The forward recently had a four-game stretch where he averaged 18.8 points and 6.3 rebounds in 31.3 minutes per game, but he's regressed over his last two outings, logging nine points and five rebounds in a combined 49 minutes.

Carroll suffered a neck injury during Wednesday's game against the 76ers and will not return.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll suffered the injury after falling down and hitting his head against teammate Pascal Siakam's knee. Neck injuries are obviously a very serious issue, but considering Carroll was able to walk off the floor under his own power, it appears he's avoided what could have been a much worse situation. He'll likely continue to be evaluated following the game and he can tentatively be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets. Carroll finishes Wednesday's outing playing 23 minutes, going scoreless (0-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt), with two rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Carroll scored 20 points (7-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT) while adding two rebounds, two steals and a block in 27 minutes during Sunday's 116-101 win over the Knicks.
EDGE Analysis
The Raptors actually had a 34 points lead heading into the fourth quarter, and as a result their starters ended up with lighter workloads than usual. Carroll finally seems healthy after struggling through most of the first half, and is now averaging 18.8 points, 6.3 boards, 3.3 threes and 1.0 steals over the last four games.

Carroll contributed 18 points (7-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and 11 rebounds across 29 minutes during Friday's 132-113 victory over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll, now seemingly free of a minutes restriction due to a knee injury, is starting to show why the Raptors inked him to a four-year, $58 million contract last season. In the four games prior to Friday, he averaged 37.3 minutes per game and shot 48.1 percent from deep on 6.8 attempts per game. Friday's blowout allowed Carroll, and most of the Raptor's starters, some opportunity to rest down the stretch, but not before recording his first double-double of the season. Carroll also fired away 10 shots from beyond the arc, tying his season high which occurred on Jan. 8th against the Rockets. It seems safe to assume that Carroll will now be a consistent staple in the Raptors' potent offense, and a viable fantasy option due to the high number of minutes he's been receiving.
