Carroll (wrist, ankle) tallied 14 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes in Sunday's 116-89 Game 7 win over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Dwane Casey indicated that Carroll was battling a tweaked ankle and sore wrist heading into Game 7, but the forward shook off the injuries to bottle up Dwyane Wade on defense along with providing strong work on the offensive end. He'll close the second round with averages of 10.7 points (on 46.4% shooting from the floor), 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals across 34.0 minutes.

Carroll will play in Sunday's Game 7 against Miami, but coach Dwane Casey noted that Carroll is dealing with a tweaked ankle in addition to the bruised left wrist he sustained during Game 5, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
Casey again confirmed that Carroll will be available for Game 7, but it sounds as though he won't be at 100 percent. It's been an up-and-down series for Carroll, and he's scored just 11 combined points over the last two games, shooting 3-of-11 from the field over that span.

Carroll (wrist) will play in Friday's matchup with the Raptors, Raptors radio play-by-play man Eric Smith reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll bruised his left wrist in Game 5, and was forced out of the game. He was considered a game-time decision Friday, and will indeed take the court. Carroll sounded optimistic prior to the game stating that he does not use his left wrist that much. Obviously, how the injury affects his performance remains to be seen, but he should take on his usual workload.

Head coach Dwane Casey said that he expects Carroll (wrist) to play and start Friday for Game 6 against the Heat, Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll left Wednesday's win over Miami in the second half after a scary moment in which he landed awkwardly on his wrist on a drive to the basket. Fortunately, X-rays were negative and all additional tests revealed no significant damage. As such, it appears Carroll will likely be able to give it a go Friday with the Raptors needing just one more win to clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. Further confirmation on Carroll's status figures to be made available prior to tip-off Friday.

Additional tests on Carroll's left wrist came back negative, and he's being listed as questionable for Friday's Game 6 against the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
Initial X-rays showed that the forward was dealing with nothing more than a bruise on the wrist after he was forced out of Wednesday's Game 5 win, but the Raptors sent Carroll in for a follow-up exam Thursday just as a precaution. Given the high stakes involved in Friday's game, it would be rather surprising if Carroll was forced to miss the contest, but the Raptors will likely wait until the team's morning shootaround that day to make an official ruling on his status.

Carroll suffered a left wrist contusion in Wednesday's game against the Heat and will not return.
EDGE Analysis
The extent of Carroll's injury will not be known until the team's medical staff gets a full look at him, but the good news is the initial X-rays came back negative. Carroll finished Wednesday's game with six points (on 1-for-7 shooting), six rebounds, and an assist. Expected his status to be updated when more news is released by the team in the coming days.

Carroll scored a game-high 21 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and added five rebounds, an assist and four steals over 40 minutes in Thursday's 96-92 Game 2 overtime victory over the Heat.
EDGE Analysis
The multi-dimensional threat that Carroll had proven himself to be at times during his two-year Hawks tenure prior to this season finally came to the forefront in Toronto, and in very timely fashion at that. The seven-year veteran equaled a season high in scoring, while taking double-digit shot attempts for only the third time in nine postseason games to date. Although his overall scoring has largely been modest so far in the playoffs, the 29-year-old's long-range shot has been dialed in, as he's drained multiple threes in four of the last six games dating back to the first round against the Pacers. More consistent offensive contributions the likes of those he supplied in Game 2 would undeniably play a crucial role in the Raptors' attempt to topple a defensive-minded Heat squad and reach the conference finals.

Carroll tallied 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals, and one block across 37 minutes in Tuesday's 102-96 overtime loss to the Heat in Game 1 of the series.
EDGE Analysis
Carroll has now seen exactly 37 minutes in both of the Raptors' last two postseason games, an indication that he's no longer facing any limitations in his return from arthroscopic knee surgery. While Carroll's minutes are on the rise, he still has yet to make a dramatic impact on the box score, as he's averaging 8.8 points (on 41.7% shooting from the field), 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers, and 1.1 steals across 29.5 minutes in eight postseason contests.

Carroll scored 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding four rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes during Friday's loss to the Pacers in Game 6 of their first round playoff series.
EDGE Analysis
He's been a strong complementary option on offense for the Raptors in the series, averaging 12.3 points in the last four games, but when Carroll is leading the team in scoring you know something's gone wrong. Expect him to leave everything he has on the court Sunday for Game 7 back in Toronto.

Carroll produced 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt), five rebounds, a steal and a block over 35 minutes in Thursday's 101-85 Game 3 victory over the Pacers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran forward finally looked like himself Thursday, playing a full allotment of minutes and taking double-digit shot attempts for the first time since his return from a 41-game absence due to arthroscopic knee surgery. Carroll provided some much-needed scoring punch that served as the perfect complement to the efforts of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, with the latter also putting together a resurgent effort. Perhaps most important was the fact that Carroll was able to endure a 35-minute stint on the court, a fact that bodes well for the remainder of the postseason.
