Wei-Yin Chen (oblique) could rejoin the Orioles after making just one minor league rehab start.
Chen is going to throw four innings in a simulated game on Monday, and the O's figure he'll be pretty close to MLB-ready after that. "If he's able to throw five, he's probably able to throw six or seven up here," said Orioles manager Buck Showalter. "The way the schedule is set up he could get between one and two starts before the All-Star break." Chen has been on the disabled list since May 27 because of a right oblique strain.
