Wei-Yin Chen (oblique) threw a three-inning simulated game in Sarasota on Thursday. Chen threw 47 pitches in all. If all goes well in a four-inning simulated game next Monday, he'll return to Baltimore before going out on a rehab assignment. The 28-year-old has been sidelined since May 27 with a right oblique strain.
