Wandy Rodriguez fell to 6-6 in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Cubs, allowing three runs on five hits in seven innings of work. Rodriguez struck out three and walked one in just his third quality start in his past seven outings. The likely trade candidate will bring a 3.54 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 70/23 K/BB ratio into his Friday start against the Brewers in Houston.

Wandy Rodriguez struggled against the Padres Monday, permitting five runs on eight hits over 6 2/3 innings. He was able to strike out six without walking a batter, but it's a matchup that he should fare better in. Wandy has mixed in a few clunkers along the way this season as he often does, but he still boasts a nifty 3.52 ERA and 1.26 WHIP for the year. He'll face the Cubs at Wrigley next.

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Dodgers and Red Sox were also in attendance for Wandy Rodriguez's start Tuesday against the Royals. Rosenthal's colleague, Jon Paul Morosi, previously reported that the Yankees, Giants and Blue Jays scouted the very same start. Scouts are deployed for all sorts of reasons, but the Dodgers and Red Sox both figure to be in the market for starting pitching help leading up to the deadline. The Astros are willing to listen to offers for the 33-year-old southpaw, who is making $10 million this season and $13 million next year. The tricky part for potential suitors is that his $13 million option for 2014 becomes a player option if he is traded.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Yankees, Giants and Blue Jays scouted Wandy Rodriguez's start Tuesday against the Royals. This doesn't necessarily mean anything, but the Blue Jays could certainly use some help in their starting rotation right now. Rodriguez, 33, is making $10 million this season and is owed $13 million next year. The Astros hold a $13 million option for 2014, but it becomes a player option in the event of a trade.

Wandy Rodriguez struggled against the White Sox on Friday but still managed to pick up the victory. Rodriguez matched a season low with only two strikeouts in the game and he allowed nine hits. But he got the victory and improves to 5-4 on the season with a solid 3.27 ERA. The left-hander makes for a very strong fantasy play next week when he takes on the Giants in San Francisco.

Wandy Rodriguez scattered eight hits and one run across seven innings on Wednesday, improving to 4-4 in Houston's 5-1 win over the Cubs. Rodriguez struck out five and walked none in his eighth quality start in 10 outings this season. His only real mistake came in the first, where he served up a solo home run to Reed Johnson. Now the owner of a 2.14 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 45/15 K/BB ratio through his first 67 1/3 innings, Rodriguez will get the Rockies in Colorado on Monday. Despite his hot start, you may want to keep him benched for that one.

Wandy Rodriguez took a hard-luck no-decision in Sunday's 12-inning loss to the Pirates, allowing just one run on three hits in eight innings of work. Rodriguez struck out seven and walked only in completing eight innings of work for the second consecutive outing. Although he's just 3-3 thanks to poor run support, Rodriguez is sporting an elite 1.99 ERA to go along with a 0.99 WHIP and 36/13 K/BB ratio. You might want to keep him benched when the Rangers arrive in Houston on Friday, however.

Wandy Rodriguez pitched well in a loss Monday, surrendering four runs on six hits and two walks over eight innings against the Marlins. He was undone by the longball, serving up three while getting outdueled by Carlos Zambrano. It's the first time this season Wandy has allowed as many as four runs, but he also went a season-high eight innings. He boasts a 2.14 ERA and 1.08 WHIP as he head into this weekend's start in Pittsburgh.

Wandy Rodriguez yielded one run in seven innings Wednesday in a victory over the Mets. Rodriguez has done it again this year: he's followed up an absolutely dreadful spring with a strong start that's seen him go 3-2 with a 1.64 ERA to date. His trade value is certainly on the rise.
