Wandy Rodriguez was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and is "not likely" to make his next scheduled start on Sunday.
Rodriguez left Monday's start in the third inning due to the injury. The Pirates will likely call up someone from Triple-A Indianapolis to start in his place this weekend.

Wandy Rodriguez has been diagnosed with tightness in his left hamstring.
The southpaw had to leave his start Monday after 2 1/3 frames due to the injury. He will receive treatment Monday night before being re-evaluated on Tuesday. We'll have a better idea at that time whether Rodriguez will be able to make his next start.

Wandy Rodriguez left Monday's game in the third inning with a left leg injury.
It's not clear when he suffered the injury, but he looked to be stretching out a possible tweaked hamstring or groin. The Pirates will provide an update on his status soon. Wandy allowed one run on two hits over 2 1/3 innings before exiting. Jeanmar Gomez took his place and would be an option to fill in for him in the rotation if need be.

Wandy Rodriguez held the Cubs scoreless over 6 2/3 innings on just two hits and a walk in Wednesday's 3-0 victory.
He recorded six strikeouts on the night. Rodriguez left the bases loaded in the seventh but Tony Watson came on to get Alberto Gonzalez to pop out to end the threat. The left-hander's strikeouts have gone in the wrong direction the last few seasons, but he still has good control and should be good for another sub-4.00 ERA. He'll face the D'Backs next.

Wandy Rodriguez held the Reds to two earned runs over six innings Sunday in a no-decision.
Rodriguez fanned seven and issued only one walk. He gave the Pirates exactly what they were hoping for this summer, posting a 3.72 ERA in 12 starts after being acquired near the trade deadline from Houston. The left-hander should maintain a good amount of fantasy value in 2013.

Wandy Rodriguez turned in a solid performance in Tuesday's win over the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits over his six frames.
Rodriguez walked two and fanned three on the night. All of the damage against him came in the first inning, where Justin Turner connected on a two-run homer and David Wright followed with a solo blast. He's now won each of his last four decisions dating back to August 29, and owns a 3.78 ERA over 11 starts with the Pirates. He'll look to finish the season strong when he does battle against the Reds at home on Sunday.

Wandy Rodriguez surrendered four runs in four innings Thursday in a no-decision versus the Brewers.
Rodriguez had turned in five straight quality starts going into this one, so it's not so much his fault that the Pirates fell below .500. His ERA for Pittsburgh stands at 3.71.

Wandy Rodriguez posted a quality start Monday, giving up three runs on just three hits and a walk over 6 2/3 innings in an extra innings loss to the Reds.
The Pirates' bullpen coughed up a win, as the lefty departed with a 3-1 lead with two outs in the seventh and watched Jared Hughes serve up a two-run double. Rodriguez struggled initially upon his arrival in Pittsburgh but has been terrific of late, putting up a 2.05 ERA over his last four outings. He'll get the Cubs this weekend.
