D'Arnaud (hand) will be activated from the DL prior to Wednesday's game. This was fully anticipated after he made it out of Tuesday's rehab outing with Triple-A Las Vegas without issue. Given the struggles of Kevin Plawecki, d'Arnaud should be expected to be used as the Mets' primary catcher going forward and is worth rostering in most formats.

D'Arnaud (hand) caught six innings in what was likely his final rehab game Tuesday, as he is expected to rejoin the Mets in time for Wednesday's game, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. Nothing is official, but everything points to d'Arnaud and Dilson Herrera being activated for Wednesday's game. Initially it appeared as though Kevin Plawecki would pose a significant threat to d'Arnaud's playing time when he returned from the DL. However, Plawecki's production has completely fallen off, so d'Arnaud figures to slot in as the Mets' primary catcher upon his activation.

Barring a setback in his final rehab game Monday, d'Arnaud (hand) is expected to rejoin the Mets on Wednesday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports. D'Arnaud has been sidelined since Apr. 19 after suffering a fractured right hand, but appears poised to finally rejoin the club at the back end of the initial 4-to-6 week timetable. Upon his return, he should easily overtake both Kevin Plawecki and Anthony Recker for the primary catching duties, while one of the two will likely lose his roster spot with the club.

D'Arnaud (hand) is expected to back with the Mets within the week, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. D'Arnaud recently moved his rehab assignment to Triple-A Las Vegas, and after collecting a few at-bats there, he should be cleared for a return. The catcher had been batting .317/.356/.537 before suffering the broken hand, and will likely displace Kevin Plawecki once activated. D'Arnaud's total absence will fall right in line with his originally-projected 4-to-6 week timetable.

D'Arnaud (hand) played a full game in the field for High-A St. Lucie on Saturday and could move up a level shortly. D'Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI and has not had any problems with his pinkie or wrist, which sidelined him last week. The Mets had planned on d'Arnaud getting 20-to-25 rehab at-bats, so he should be back in the majors by around mid-to-late next week.

D'Arnaud (hand) started his rehab assignment at High-A St. Lucie on Thursday. He went 1-for-2 with a walk and played the field for five innings. D'Arnaud, who suffered a fractured right hand when he was hit by an A.J. Ramos pitch on April 19, likely will need at least a week of rehab games to be ready for activation. When that does happen, he will slot right back in as the Mets' starter catcher with Kevin Plawecki going down to Triple-A Las Vegas.

D'Arnaud (hand) will resume his rehab assignment Thursday with High-A St. Lucie, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. D'Arnaud was shut down for a few days with some bruising on his wrist, but the setback was only minor, and he is ready to get back on the field. It remains to be seen how many more minor league games he will need before the Mets decide to activate him from the disabled list.

The Mets hope D'Arnaud (hand) will be able to resume playing minor league games this week, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. D'Arnaud suffered a minor setback in his rehab last week and was experiencing pain in his wrist. However, it's beginning to subside, and the hope is that he'll be able to resume his rehab assignment later in the week. The catcher had been playing at High-A St. Lucie with the expectation that he'll progress to Triple-A Las Vegas when ready.

D'Arnaud (hand) suffered a minor setback in his rehab process due to wrist pain, and a visit to a hand specialist revealed a bruise, Jared Diamond of Newsday reports. D'Arnaud's setback isn't believed to be serious, but now the issue seems to be related to "tolerance" of pain. An early June return still seems possible at this point, but it would likely require him continuing his progression despite the minor setback.

D'Arnaud (hand) went 0-for-3 Thursday while serving as the DH during a rehab game for High-A St. Lucie, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. It was d'Arnaud's second game of the rehab assignment, after he previously caught seven innings a night earlier. He's expected to eventually advance his rehab to Triple-A Las Vegas in the coming days before potentially rejoining the Mets lineup at some point next week.
