D'Arnaud will be available Sunday in an emergency situation, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports. Manager Terry Collins initially thought d'Arnaud suffered a severe shoulder injury, but the Mets do not believe they will have to call up a replacement for d'Arnaud.

D'Arnoud was officially considered day-to-day with a hyperextended left elbow, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports. It is unclear if d'Arnaud will have to miss any time because of the injury, but Kevin Plawecki came into the game to replace d'Arnoud and would see the extra playing time should d'Arnoud be required to sit a few games.

D'Arnaud injured his arm while trying to tag A.J. Pierzynski at home plate. Kevin Plawecki came into the game in his place and will likely see playing time should D'Arnaud miss any games.

However, he should continue as the primary catcher moving forward, receiving just the occasional day off.
