Barring a setback in his final rehab game Monday, d'Arnaud (hand) is expected to rejoin the Mets on Wednesday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports. D'Arnaud has been sidelined since Apr. 19 after suffering a fractured right hand, but appears poised to finally rejoin the club at the back end of the initial 4-to-6 week timetable. Upon his return, he should easily overtake both Kevin Plawecki and Anthony Recker for the primary catching duties, while one of the two will likely lose his roster spot with the club.
