D'Arnaud (hand) will play in an extended spring game Tuesday, and is expected to make several rehab starts this week, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
Following the extended spring action, d'Arnaud will start his rehab at High-A Port St. Lucie before moving along to Triple-A Las Vegas. The Mets are optimistic that he could be back with the team for a road series with the Diamondbacks that begins June 4. They currently have three catchers on their roster, two of which will likely be sent down upon d'Arnaud's activation.

D'Arnaud (hand) is on track to begin a rehab assignment by the middle of next week, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
The 26-year-old catcher worked quickly through his hitting progression this week, going from dry swings Monday to full batting practice Friday. D'Arnaud is now looking ahead to a rehab stint, and while it's uncertain how long his stay in the minors could last, he appears headed for an early-June activation.

D'Arnaud (hanf) took batting practice Friday and should start a minor-league rehab stint next week, ESPN New York reports.
D'Arnaud, out since April 19 with a fractured pinkie bone on his right hand suffered when he was struck by a pitch from A.J. Ramos, likely will next an extended stint in the minors. He may be ready in about 7-10 days, and assuming a Tuesday start date that would put his return date during the Mets' West Coast swing from June 1-7.

Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said Tuesday that d'Arnaud (hand) could return in 10-to-14 days, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.
Recent reports have mostly mentioned early June, but Alderson's timeline perhaps gives d'Arnaud a chance to play a game or two before the end of May. D'Arnaud was cleared to swing a bat Monday, and he took some dry swings without suffering any setbacks.

D'Arnaud (hand) took dry swings Monday, Newsday's Marc Carig reports.
D'Arnaud was able to successfully complete the first step in his rehab, but it remains too early to lay out a clear timetable. After suffering a broken hand in mid-April, the young backstop's most challenging step will likely be on the defensive side. Once he's able to catch a full game, it won't be long before Mets fans and fantasy owners see d'Arnaud back on the field.

D'Arnaud (hand) was cleared to swing a bat Monday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
D'Arnaud was slated to undergo X-rays on Monday, and it appears they went well. He'll continue his rehab without a specific date at this point, as the Mets' catcher protocol involves the ability to catch nine innings. However, a return in early June seems plausible if all goes well in his recovery.

D'Arnaud could progress fairly rapidly, starting with hitting off a tee to batting practice and a rehab stint. If all goes well, he could be back with the Mets in early-June.

D'Arnaud (hand) has been cleared for all baseball activities besides hitting, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
Hitting is one of the fundamental baseball activities of course, but it's encouraging to see that d'Aranud is ready to shed the soft cast he has been wearing and work toward regaining the strength in his hand. D'Arnaud is still several weeks away from playing for the Mets, but he has a chance to return before month's end.

D'Arnaud's (hand) examination to shed his soft cast and begin baseball activities will be Tuesday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
D'Arnaud will need to rebuild the strength in his hand and then progress to swinging a bat. From there, he will move to batting practice and a several games rehab stint. D'Arnaud, who has been ably replaced by Kevin Plawecki, could be back with the Mets in early-June.

D'Arnaud (hand), who has already started receiving drills, will be examined by the team doctors and hopes to shed his splint Monday, Newsday reports.
Kevin Plawecki has filled in nicely for d'Arnaud and it remains to be seen if he will be sent down when d'Arnaud returns. If d'Arnaud does receive clearance to shed the splint, he will need to progress to swinging a bat, then hitting off a tee to batting practice and a rehab stint. If all goes well, d'Arnaud could be back by early-June.
