D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
That's now back-to-back days d'Arnaud has failed to start at catcher. ESPN's Adam Rubin stated Tuesday, D'Arnaud was merely getting a night off and would return Wednesday --- however, that doesn't appear to be the case. D'Arnaud isn't being limited by any sort of injury as far as we know --- that being said, his status for Thursday's game should answer some questions for fantasy owners.

The Mets' young catcher has started four games in a row, so this is pretty standard rest for him. Usual backup Kevin Plawecki will take over behind the plate as the team takes on Michael Pineda.

d'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's 4-3 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets backstop has been scorching at the plate, now boasting a .432/.463/.757 slash line in September. d'Arnaud's mashing of lefties in particular has been something to behold; the 26-year-old has gone 14-for-33 against southpaws. With impressive stats in an injury-plagued season, d'Arnaud has provided reason to think he could be an elite fantasy asset over the course of a full season.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Yoenis Cespedes has deservedly received most of the publicity and credit for the Mets' second-half offensive surge, but d'Arnaud has quietly been one of the best offensive catchers in baseball when healthy this year. Since returning from the DL at the end of July, d'Arnaud has hit .290 with seven homers and an OPS well over .900 in 30 games.

EDGE Analysis
D'Arnaud has been an offensive force lately, notching nine hits in his last 22 at-bats. The 26-year-old backstop has missed chunks of 2015 on the disabled list, but has produced when healthy- hitting for an outstanding .265 ISO.
