Vogt hit his 12th home run as part of a monster 3-for-5, five RBI night Monday against San Diego.
Vogt now leads all qualified catchers in on-base percentage (.385), slugging percentage (.526), home runs, RBI (45) and walk rate (15.0 percent). Russell Martin is also raking, but Vogt looks like the most complete hitter at the catcher position in the majors this season.

Vogt (thumb) is listed in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.
Vogt jammed his thumb at some point during Saturday's game, ultimately finishing the day with three strikeouts in four at-bats. It doesn't appear the injury is harmful enough to prevent him from seeing continued at-bats, though the Athletics will move him from behind the plate to first base for the series finale.

Vogt jammed his thumb Saturday but said he should be good to go for Sunday's game, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports.
As Lee said on Twitter, Vogt is a walking ice pack right now after being held out of the lineup Friday with leg cramps. The 30-year-old backstop is having by far the best year of his career, but he has already seen about two thirds the amount of plate appearances he saw with the A's last season, so the workload may be starting to catch up to him. The thumb issue was a freak thing though and does not sound like a big deal.

Vogt (leg) is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
This was widely expected, and Vogt should be good to go as far as normal expectations for him go. Before missing one game with leg cramps, Vogt was hitting .303/.375/.485 in his previous 10 games.

Vogt (leg) is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday, the Bay Area News Group's John Hickey reports.
He is not in Friday's lineup but is available off the bench and manager Bob Melvin said he expects Vogt to be back in the lineup Saturday. While Vogt undoubtedly played over his head in the first two months of the season, he is still in the conversation as a top-five fantasy catcher when taking regression into account.

Vogt (leg) is not in the lineup Friday against the Red Sox.
Vogt was removed from Thursday's game due to leg cramps, and he'll be held out Friday as he's apparently still battling the issue. Mark Canha will return to the lineup, taking Vogt's spot at first base and hitting eighth against Boston's Wade Miley.

Vogt (leg) said he may just be dealing with cramps, and there's a chance he'll be in Friday's lineup against the Red Sox, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Vogt left Thursday's game against the Tigers in the bottom of the ninth inning, after he appeared to hurt his leg while chasing a foul ball. If it's nothing more than cramps, he should be available at some point during the upcoming series in Boston. If it turns out to be something more serious, Josh Phegley, Max Muncey and Mark Canha are the leading candidates to pick up extra at-bats.

Vogt was removed from Thursday's game in Detroit with an apparent leg injury, ESPN's Buster Olney reports.
Vogt, who got the start at first base, was removed in favor of Max Muncy with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning. According to CSN California's Joe Stiglich, Vogt came up limping after chasing a foul ball.

Vogt supplied all of the Oakland offense on Sunday, finishing 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in a 3-0 over the Yankees.
The 31-year-old's monster season continues, as his 11th home run of the season elevated his OPS to 1.022 and his 38 RBI already represent a new career-high. Vogt has possibly been the biggest surprise in fantasy baseball this season and should continue on as one of the top offensive catchers in the game.

Vogt went 2-for-3 with a two-run double, a walk and a run scored Friday against the Yankees.
He's simply been a hitting machine, putting up some of the finest numbers in baseball -- and doing it while eligible at catcher in most formats. Vogt has now hit in five straight and reached base safely in eight straight, having gone 11-for-28 (.392) with a homer, five RBI and a 4:4 BB:K in the latter span.
