Vogt hit his third home run in two games Tuesday against the Twins, finishing the night with five RBIs on three hits. Vogt hit two home runs Sunday against the Rangers. He's been hot in May so far, driving in 10 runs and reaching base over 62 percent of the time.

Vogt returned to the lineup on Sunday against the Rangers and went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and two walks. Vogt's awesome start to the season carries on, as the 30-year-old has now piled up six home runs and 20 RBI to go with his stellar .356 average and 1.126 OPS through 26 games. Vogt was a late bloomer by MLB standards, but is an absolute force at the plate right now and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Vogt is out of the lineup Saturday, Fox Sports Southwest's Anthony Andro reports. This is just a standard day off for the hot-hitting catcher. Josh Phegley will get the start Saturday against the Rangers and hit eighth.

Vogt is out of the lineup Thursday, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports. Vogt has been a mainstay behind the dish for Oakland this year thanks to a .348/.421/.606 slash line to start the season. Josh Phegley will take his place at catcher Thursday so that Vogt can enjoy a well-earned day off.

Vogt is out of the lineup Friday against the Astros. Vogt will receive the night off with the left-handed Dallas Keuchel on the mound for the Astros. Josh Phegley will start in his place behind the plate Friday, batting seventh, but Vogt should rejoin the lineup Saturday.

Vogt is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Vogt came off the bench the last three times the A's faced a left-hander, but he currently owns a .366/.435/.780 slash line, so he will be part of the lineup against Angels southpaw Hector Santiago on Tuesday night. Vogt will play first base and hit third in the A's batting order.

Vogt stayed hot on Monday night, hitting his fourth homer and driving in three. Vogt hit in the three hole and delivered with a three-run homer to give the A's the lead in the fourth inning. Vogt, now eligible at catcher in most leagues, has had a great start to 2015, hitting .366 to go with 12 RBI.

Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals. Vogt has started six straight behind the plate for manager Bob Melvin, but will take a seat in favor of Josh Phegley on Sunday afternoon. It appears to be a regular maintenance day for Vogt, who is slashing .368/.429/.737 over 42 plate appearances to start the year.

Vogt had a big night in a losing cause, going 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs against the Royals on Friday night. He has catcher eligibility and some power, which gives him appeal in many fantasy leagues. The catcher/first baseman now has three home runs and eight RBI to go with a very nice .353 average, so only the fact that he often sits against southpaws tarnishes his fantasy value.

Vogt (ankle) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros. Vogt rolled his ankle during Monday's game, but he stayed in and suggested afterward that it loosened up after a couple innings. Apparently, the injury did not worsen overnight, so he will be fine to handle his normal duties Tuesday. Vogt is 1-for-8 in his career against Tuesday's starter Brad Peacock.
