Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored in Tuesday's 8-6 victory over the Padres.
Goldschmidt was cold to start the spring but had a nice afternoon on Tuesday. The first baseman put up MVP-caliber numbers last season and can reasonably be expected to repeat the performance in 2014.

Paul Goldschmidt has been named the 2013 National League Gold Glove winner at first base.
It's the first Gold Glove for the big slugger. Goldschmidt finished first in the Fielding Bible voting among all MLB first basemen. He beat out the Cubs' Anthony Rizzo and the Dodgers' Adrian Gonzalez.

Paul Goldschmidt was named the recipient of the 2013 Hank Aaron award, recognizing the top hitter in the National League.
The 26-year-old slugger slashed a mighty .302/.441/.551 with career bests of 36 home runs and 125 RBI. He also scored 103 runs and swiped 15 bags for good measure, making him a five category monster in fantasy leagues. He'll be the top first baseman off the board in most drafts next Spring, and should be one of the first five names called.

He was one of the most dominant players in the fantasy game, and would've been a run-away MVP candidate had the Diamondbacks had a more successful season.

Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a walk, home run, stolen base and two RBI in Wednesday's victory over the Dodgers.
Goldschmidt isn't likely to win the National League MVP, but he can certainly make an argument for inclusion in the debate. He's only gotten better as the season winds to a close, going 17-for-31 (.548) with three homers, 11 RBI and seven runs scored during his current eight-game hitting streak. Goldschmidt ranks first in the NL in homers (34), RBI (118) and OPS (.962).

Paul Goldschmidt had another monster day at the plate in Sunday's 8-2 victory over the Rockies, going 4-for-4 with a homer, double and five RBI.
Goldschmidt go the D'Backs on the board with an RBI single in the first, then added a two-run homer in the fourth and a two-run double in the fifth inning.
