Well-Known Fantasy Baseball Players - Drop, Hold, or Sell Low? (Wee... rotoballer.com Tue 7/2/24 7:00 AM
At this point of the fantasy baseball season, results are either there or they aren't for players. In most cases, a player who struggled for the first three months of the season won't just magically break out of their slump and be a fantasy star for the rest of the year.As a result, fantasy managers should take that into account when looking at their roster in Week 15 (July 1 to July 7). It's different when a player like Paul Goldschmidt was struggling to start the season. It's a long year, and ...

One of the hardest things about fantasy baseball is whether or not to drop certain players. In a long baseball season, it's important to remain patient and not overreact to slumps. It happened earlier in the year with Paul Goldschmidt after a rough start. But since then, he has been much better for fantasy managers. That's why patience is key in fantasy baseball, and that applies all throughout the season. As we enter Week 14 (June 24 to June 30), there are some well-known fantasy players who ...

Fantasy Baseball Risers and Fallers - John Means, Paul Goldschmidt,... rotoballer.com Wed 5/8/24 9:00 AM
There is nothing quite like the ebbs and flows of fantasy baseball. Every at-bat of every game is the final straw based on that moment whereas in reality, players will have hundreds more across the next dozen weeks to neutralize whatever outcome came about.Across the past month, plenty of recently unknown players have thrived in fantasy baseball while many perennial All-Stars have disappointed. Below, I discuss which known commodities should work their way back to fantasy stardom and which ...
First Basemen Set to Outperform Their ADP - Fantasy Baseball Draft ... rotoballer.com Wed 3/20/24 7:30 AM
When you want power and run production in fantasy baseball, first base is often a great place to look. As in most years, this year offers many elite options at the top, and a lot of question marks after the first tier. That applies to all 2024 fantasy baseball drafts I have done since early February. In the first five rounds of drafts, players like Matt Olson, Bryce Harper, Pete Alonso, and Paul Goldschmidt all offer a safe floor and possibility for elite upside. Paul Goldschmidt is presently the...
Five Fantasy Baseball Draft Sleepers: Mid-To-Late Round Value Picks... rotoballer.com Sat 3/2/24 8:00 AM
The NL Central doesn't have the same kind of fantasy baseball stars as other divisions. As a matter of fact, the first player selected from the NL Central isn't until Cincinnati Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz is taken in the early fourth round. After that, Devin Williams, Cody Bellinger, Freddy Peralta, and Nico Hoerner are off the board next. Williams is usually the first closer off the board in the fifth round, while Bellinger, Peralta, and Hoerner all go in the sixth. Paul Goldschmidt then ...
Paul Goldschmidt Drives In The Cardinals Only Run rotoballer.com Sun 6/25/23 2:28 AM
St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with an RBI single, a walk, and a strikeout in a 9-1 blowout loss to the Chicago Cubs in London on Saturday. The Cards didn't put on much of a show across the pond in MLB's London series as the Cubs put up seven runs in the first four innings. "Goldy" was the only batter on St. Louis to record an RBI as he singled in Tommy Edman in the sixth inning. Goldschmidt has been one of the few bright spots in what has been a wildly ...
Paul Goldschmidt Hits Two-Run Homer Monday rotoballer.com Tue 6/13/23 12:53 AM
St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run and a strikeout in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Giants. The veteran is still producing fantasy value at a high level, slashing .286/.380/.492 with 11 HR, 30 RBI, and seven stolen bases. The power has been down in June and this homer was his first of the month, so hopefully it can get him going again.
