Paul Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Pirates. Goldschmidt was the only one in the Arizona lineup able to muster anything off of Charlie Morton and the Pirates' bullpen. Quietly, the first baseman is having another quality season, slashing .305/.395/.536 with 15 home runs, 53 RBI, and eight stolen bases.

Paul Goldschmidt finished 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's loss against the Pirates. Goldschmidt singled and stole second base in the fifth inning, scoring on a Miguel Montero single. The first baseman struggled through the end of June, going just 1-for-19 in the final seven games of the month, so it's good to see him start off July with a good evening. Goldschmidt is batting .300/.391/.530 overall on the year.

Paul Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a steal and two runs scored as the Diamondbacks beat the Giants 4-1 on Friday. A rather disappointing game for Goldschmidt, considering that he entered with seven homers and a 1.994 OPS in 28 plate appearances against Tim Lincecum. Both hits and the walk did come off Lincecum, so he upped his average versus the former Cy Young Award winner from .542 to .577.

Paul Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored in a win over the Dodgers on Sunday. Goldschmidt has a nine-game hitting streak with four homers and seven RBI in that span. Overall, the first baseman is batting .309/.374/.568. He remains among the National League leaders in nearly every offensive category, and it's not too early (OK, maybe it's too early) to start talking about him as the NL MVP.

Paul Goldschmidt doubled and launched a solo homer in Tuesday's win over the Astros. He also drew a walk and scored a pair of runs, reaching base in three of four trips to the plate. Goldschmidt even swiped his fifth base of the season to put a cherry on top. The first baseman has been a fantasy monster again in 2014, batting .309/.374/.556 with 13 homers and 48 RBI to go along with his five thefts.

Paul Goldschmidt had the Diamondbacks' lone hit, a double, in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals. Goldschmidt and his Diamondbacks teammates were rendered absolutely useless by Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright. Goldschmidt hit a double with two outs in the fourth inning, and Wainwright retired the next 16 batters to finish the gem. The double was Goldschmidt's 19th of the season as he's in the midst of another monster offensive season.

Paul Goldschmidt had two homers, two doubles and six RBI in the Diamondbacks' 18-7 demolition of the Dodgers on Saturday. Tony La Russa's impact is already being felt, what with the Diamondbacks using their lefty specialist to get two outs in a 14-7 game. This one got so bad in the ninth that Drew Butera pitched... again. For a third time this season. He's practically Brooks Kieschnick now, minus the offense. Goldschmidt's second homer came off the catcher and gave him nine homers this year. It's his first career six-RBI game. He's the first player since Josh Willingham in 2009 to finish a game with five runs scored and five RBI. He joins Charlie Blackmon, Ryan Braun and Corey Dickerson as the only players this year to amass 12 total bases in a game.
