Goldschmidt hit a double to go 1-for-3 with a run scored and a walk Wednesday in a 5-2 loss to the Giants. Goldschmidt was ninth in the league last year with 39 doubles despite missing more than 50 games due to injury. Through his first 13 plate appearances he has reached base at a .538 clip, which is incredible and a good sign that last year's injury isn't affecting his approach at the plate. Assuming his power is back to pre-injury levels, the 27-year-old is going to be one of the top hitters in baseball and a fantasy stud.
