Mike Minor allowed three runs on eight hits over 6 2/3 innings in a win over the Padres on Sunday.
Minor needed a start against the offense-deficient Padres to get back on the right track, and even then it wasn't spectacular. Minor gave up eight hits, including two home runs, on the day. He also struck out six while walking one. Fortunately for Minor, he gets to pick on the Padres again next week, this time in San Diego. He'll take a 5.23 ERA and 1.56 WHIP into that start.

Mike Minor left the game without recording an out in the fourth inning against the Marlins, taking his sixth loss after allowing six runs in three-plus innings on Tuesday.
Minor's struggles continued on Tuesday, as the Marlins banged out 10 hits and drew two walks en route to a win. The lefty allowed the first three batters he faced in the fourth inning to reach base (double, single, ground-rule double) before manager Fredi Gonzalez replaced him with David Hale. Minor struck out only one in the effort, and his ERA went up to 5.32. There is good news for Minor's dwindling fantasy owners, however: he'll face the Padres' frail offense at home in his next start on Sunday.

Mike Minor was knocked around for six earned runs in six innings Saturday by a weak Cubs team.
Minor took a step in the right direction Monday against the Mets, allowing only two runs and two hits over seven strong innings, but his struggles returned Saturday at Wrigley Field. Chicago managed 11 hits off him -- including five doubles -- but the Atlanta offense was even better and netted him a victory. Minor has a disappointing 4.86 ERA and 1.49 WHIP on the season.

Mike Minor held the Mets to two runs and two hits over seven innings on Monday.
Minor bounced back nicely after struggling in 4 1/3 innings against this same Mets team six days ago. He's been anything but consistent since returning from his shoulder problem at the beginning of May, but he still rates as a good bet in mixed leagues the rest of the way.

Mike Minor got a no-decision, allowing four runs over 4 1/3 innings in Tuesday's win over the Mets.
The lefty has been uncharacteristically pedestrian over his past five starts now. Minor surrendered nine hits -- two of which were homers to lefty batters Curtis Granderson and Daniel Murphy -- while walking one and striking out five. He now carries a 4.73 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP, and a 70/21 K/BB ratio. Minor will face the Mets again in his next start, but it'll be on the road in Queens.

Mike Minor yielded five runs in six innings Thursday in a loss to the Astros.
This makes seven straight outings without a victory for Minor, though he's turned in four quality starts (and one near miss) during that span. His big mistake today was leaving an 0-2 fastball over the plate to Matt Dominguez with two men on the fifth. The pitch was supposed to get in on Dominguez's hands. Instead, it was drilled over the yellow line in left center. Despite the rather unimpressive performances of late, we still expect Minor to be a significant asset in mixed leagues the rest of the way.

Mike Minor allowed two runs over seven innings and struck out a season-high 11 batters Friday against the Nationals, but was handed a no-decision.
While Craig Kimbrel blew it in the ninth, it was still a big outing from Minor, who was coming off back-to-back shaky starts. It was his fourth career double-digit strikeout game and his second of the season. The 26-year-old southpaw still owns a mediocre 4.20 ERA on the year, but we see better days ahead for him.

Mike Minor struggled in a no-decision against the Angels on Sunday, allowing three runs on 11 hits over his five innings of work.
Minor racked up six strikeouts on the evening while walking only one. He was lifted for a pinch hitter in the sixth inning after hurling 103 pitches through the first five frames. Most of the damage against him came via the long ball with solo homers from Erick Aybar and Mike Trout. He'll look to get back on track when he brings a 4.42 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 49/16 K/BB ratio into Friday's matchup against the Nationals in Washington.

Mike Minor was a tough-luck loser Wednesday, striking out 10 while tossing seven innings of one-run ball against the Mariners.
A fourth-inning RBI single from Cole Gillespie was the lone blemish on Minor's line, but it was enough with Hisashi Iwakuma shutting down the Braves' offense. Minor is now 2-4 despite a 3.07 ERA and 40/12 K/BB ratio over 44 innings. He'll try to get back in the win column next week in Colorado.

Mike Minor got the no-decision on Thursday, allowing one run over seven innings in Thursday's loss to the Red Sox.
Minor was in line for his third win of the season, but the Braves' bullpen failed in the eighth and ninth innings. The lefty allowed only seven hits without issuing a walk while striking out three. Minor now has four consecutive quality starts under his belt and will look to make it five in his next start against the Mariners at home.
