Minor experienced more discomfort in his left shoulder when he threw off the mound during rehab, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Given the nagging nature of shoulder injuries, this could very well be a setback for Minor's return time. If he's behind schedule, his return pushes into May and leaves the Braves with a shallow rotation. When he does come back, he'll be a risky pick-up as he might not be 100 percent and could face re-injury.

Minor (shoulder) is still doing long-toss throwing sessions and has not thrown off a mound yet, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's David O'Brien reports.
Manager Fredi Gonzalez said Minor is getting close to taking the mound, but Minor has not yet cleared that hurdle. It seems unlikely that he will be able to rejoin the Braves' rotation until at least May, as Minor will probably need a couple rehab outings before making his 2015 debut in the big leagues.

Minor (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL retroactive to March 27, MLB.com reports.
Minor has started throwing in the past week and will need a lengthy rehab assignment once he's up to full speed. A return sometime in May appears to be the current target.

Minor (shoulder) completed two sets of 15 throws from 50 feet Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Tuesday marked Minor's first time throwing in three weeks, since he was shut down due to a sore shoulder. Manager Fredi Gonzalez said Minor felt fine while throwing, and the team now plans to slowly ramp up his program. The lefty figures to need a lengthy rehab assignment once cleared to pitch in games, but a return sometime in May seems to be the target.

Minor (shoulder) is scheduled to begin his throwing program this week and hopes to be ready to rejoin the rotation in late-April/early-May, MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports.
After being shut down for two weeks with shoulder soreness, it is good to hear that Minor plans to resume throwing this week. There is still a ton of risk here, as Minor was more of a flier option in mixed leagues when healthy given his sub-par 2014 season. Considering he should open the year on the disabled list, leagues with a DL spot would be the best places to stash him. With Minor out, Wandy Rodriguez, Eric Stults, Mike Foltynewicz and Manny Banuelos are battling it out for the final two rotation spots to start the year.

Minor (shoulder) has no structural damage, but he'll be shut down for two weeks before being reevaluated, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Minor visited with Dr. James Andrews, who determined the pitcher isn't dealing with a major injury, just soreness in his rotator cuff. It's a relief for the Braves, though they'll still keep a very close eye on Minor, who has had shoulder issues in the past, over the next two weeks.

Minor (shoulder) will visit Dr. James Andrews next week to determine the extent of his left shoulder injury, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Minor was scratched from his scheduled outing Sunday due to tightness in his shoulder, and the need for a trip to see Dr. Andrews is never a good sign. However, given that it's a shoulder issue, it shouldn't require Tommy John surgery barring something unforeseen. More information on his situation should become available after the visit.

Minor has been scratched from his scheduled Grapefruit League outing Sunday with tightness in his left shoulder.
This is troubling news for the Braves, as Minor battled shoulder issues throughout 2014, though the team is saying he was scratched for precautionary reasons. Apparently, the tightness first surfaced Tuesday and the team wants to tread carefully. Atlanta has yet to name a replacement for Sunday's game against Houston, but if Minor is forced to miss more than one turn, it will likely open the door for the likes of Mike Foltynewicz and Manny Banuelos to see additional starting opportunities.

Minor won his arbitration case with the Braves and will receive a one-year, $5.6 million contract for 2015, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Jornal-Constitution reports.Minor and the Braves went to arbitration over just $500,000, so this doesn't carry any major financial ramifications for either side. This was Minor's second go-around in arbitration and will receive more money as he moves further into the process until free agency in 2018.

Minor (shoulder) didn't experience any discomfort while playing catch this week, MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports.
Minor is expected to get in some work off the mound in the near future and should be well on his way to being fully healthy before the beginning of spring training. The Braves shut him down late last season due to concerns about him experiencing shoulder discomfort, but it was mostly a precautionary measure. Even though he was able to make 25 starts last season, it's fair to wonder if Minor was pitching through injury for much of the campaign, as he saw a sizable uptick in his home-run rate en route to a career-worst 4.77 ERA. The Braves will be counting on him for a bounce back in 2015, likely as the No. 4 starter in their rotation.
