Manny Machado hit his second home run of the season in a win over the Indians on Sunday.
Machado led off the fifth innning with a solo blast against Indians starter Trevor Bauer, his only hit in two official at-bats on the day. He also walked twice. It's been slow out of the gate for the third baseman, as he's still hitting just .235/.290/.318, but he's got a modest eight-game hitting streak as he continues to find his timing at the plate.

Manny Machado (groin) remains out of the Orioles starting lineup on Saturday.
Machado was forced to leave Thursday's game due to stiffness in his right groin and sat out Friday's contest as a precautionary measure. The ailment doesn't appear to be serious, but the O's obviously don't want to take any chances with their star infielder. He's still considered day-to-day.

Manny Machado (groin) is hoping to be back in the lineup on Saturday.
Machado is sitting Friday after exiting Thursday's contest with right groin stiffness, but he reported much improvement when he arrived to the park. He will take some light swings in the batting cage but will not do any workouts on the field. Ryan Flaherty is handling third base for the Orioles Friday.

Manny Machado (groin) is not in the Orioles' lineup Friday.
Machado left Thursday's game against the Indians with right groin stiffness. The feeling is that he'll be fine, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the O's hold him out for an additional game or two. Ryan Flaherty is at the hot corner Friday.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter said that he removed Manny Machado (groin) from Thursday's game as a precaution.
Showalter thinks Machado might have tweaked his right groin on a slide and he didn't like the third baseman's running and body language. He'll be re-evaluated Friday, but it doesn't sound like the third baseman is in any danger of landing on the disabled list. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Manny Machado left Thursday's game against the Indians with right groin stiffness.
It's not clear at this point how he suffered the injury or how long he might be sidelined. The Orioles should have an update on the third baseman after the game. Machado was 1-for-6 with a run scored in the contest before exiting.

Orioles activated 3B Manny Machado from the 15-day disabled list.
Machado is not in the Orioles' starting lineup for Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader with the Pirates, but he should be in there for Game 2. The young third baseman made a mostly-smooth recovery from last year's knee surgery and will likely be a major fantasy asset going forward. He was 8-for-12 (.667) with four doubles, a triple, and one stolen base on his three-game rehab assignment at High-A Frederick.
