Manny Machado (groin) is hoping to be back in the lineup on Saturday. Machado is sitting Friday after exiting Thursday's contest with right groin stiffness, but he reported much improvement when he arrived to the park. He will take some light swings in the batting cage but will not do any workouts on the field. Ryan Flaherty is handling third base for the Orioles Friday.
