Josh Tomlin limited the Orioles to two runs on eight hits in six innings of Sunday's loss. Tomlin struck out two and walked none in falling to 5-7. His biggest mistake came in the first, where he served up a two-run homer to J.J. Hardy. The quality outing was just his second in his past six starts. He'll bring a 5.34 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 51/21 K/BB ratio into his Friday start against the Twins in Minnesota.

Josh Tomlin struggled in Tuesday's loss to the Rays, surrendering four runs on seven hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work. Tomlin walked one and struck out one in the game. The Rays jumped on him right out of the gate, as Carlos Pena belted a two-run homer just two batters into the game. Luke Scott added an RBI triple before the inning ended, which would eventually stand as the game winning run. Tomlin has been mediocre at best for the Tribe, posting a 5-6 record and 5.51 ERA over his 15 starts. He'll look for better results when he takes on the Orioles at home on Sunday.

Josh Tomlin didn't have his finest outing against the Orioles on Saturday, but managed to earn the victory despite allowing five runs on seven hits over six innings. Tomlin walked three and punched out four. Chris Davis' three-run bomb in the fourth inning was the biggest blow against him. Luckily for Tomlin the Indians brought their hitting sticks to the park, providing 11 runs of support. He'll carry a 4-5 record and 5.85 ERA into his next outing against the Rays.

Josh Tomlin was blasted for six runs on six hits and two walks over just three innings in Monday's loss to the Yankees. Tomlin has now alternated good and bad starts for five straight turns. His ERA, now at 5.70, hasn't been lower than 4.67 all season. He'll get the Orioles this weekend and remains someone to avoid in fantasy.

Josh Tomlin was tagged for six runs in four innings by the Reds in Thursday's loss. Tomlin's strikeout rate is up a bit from last season and his home run rate is about the same, but his ERA has jumped from 4.25 to 5.56. That suggests a rebound is possible. Still, it's more likely that the league has simply caught up to him. The Indians should be on the lookout for a replacement.

Josh Tomlin wasn't sharp on Saturday, allowing five runs on 10 hits over six innings in a loss to the Twins. The Twins jumped all over Tomlin right from the start, pushing four runs across in the first inning. Trevor Plouffe added a solo homer in the sixth to complete the damage against him. Tomlin walked one and struck out three in the game, through Twins hitters made solid contact against him throughout the game. With the loss, he falls to 2-3 on the season and raises his ERA to a pedestrian 5.32. It won't get any easier for him as he travels to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals on Friday. There's no reason for him to be started in any leagues at this point.

Indians activated RHP Josh Tomlin from the 15-day disabled list. Tomlin is starting on Monday against the Royals after missing a little over two weeks with a right wrist injury. The 27-year-old carries very little fantasy value.
