He'll get the Angels at home in his next turn in the rotation.

Josh Tomlin pitched eight innings of three-run ball Saturday in a win over the Rangers. We were among those disappointed when the Indians initially picked Tomlin over Trevor Bauer a month ago, but he's been very good, going 4-2 with a 3.12 ERA. He doesn't have the stuff to keep this up, though as long as he continues to keep the walks to a minimum, he can help the Indians. We wouldn't pick him up in mixed leagues, especially with a start in Fenway next on the schedule.

It's an easy matchup and Tomlin had good numbers this year at Triple-A, but the 29-year-old has never enjoyed much success at the major league level and can be ignored in standard fantasy leagues.

The veteran right-hander struck out five without walking a batter in the game. All of the damage against him came on a pair of solo homers from Conor Gillaspie and Josh Phegley. Tomlin now owns a sparkling 2.57 ERA and 14/2 K/BB ratio through 14 innings on the Cactus League season, and seems like a lock to make the Opening Day rotation.
