Eickhoff was tagged with his 14th loss of the season Thursday after allowing three runs on five hits over 6.2 innings in a 15-2 loss to the Pirates. He struck out five and did not walk a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff allowed just three hits through his first six innings Thursday, but each of those were solo home runs. He allowed a fourth homer, a three-run shot, in the sixth, but those runs were unearned after an error by Maikel Franco extended the inning. Eickhoff, who is now 10-14 with a 3.74 ERA, will face the White Sox at home in his next start.

Eickhoff fired six scoreless innings but did not factor into the decision against the Nationals on Saturday, giving up five hits and two walks. He also struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The two teams were locked in a scoreless stalemate until Bryce Harper's eighth-inning three-run homer, leaving Eickhoff with no chance at a decision despite one of his strongest outings of the season. The 26-year-old has rattled off four straight quality starts and has not surrendered a homer in the last three trips to the mound. Eickhoff has emerged from a couple of rough patches throughout the season to turn in largely quality work for one of the most toothless offenses in the majors, and will look to get back in the win column against the Pirates next Thursday.

Eickhoff (10-13) stymied the Marlins, holding them to two runs over six innings to earn the win on Labor Day. He gave up six hits and struck out four without allowing a walk.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff now has three straight quality starts for the Phillies and has won four of his last five decisions. The 26-year-old has been very consistent all season for the Phillies, recording a 3.86 ERA and 1.22 WHIP for the year. Eickhoff will make his next start Saturday against Washington.

Eickhoff (9-13) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over six innings in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff turned in a second straight quality start, but stood little chance of winning against a dominant Max Scherzer. The 26-year-old has pitched more than six innings just once in his last 10 starts, and his inability to go deep into games only detracts from what is already a vanilla resume. Monday's road start in Miami probably won't go very well considering Eickhoff has an 0-3 record against the Marlins this season.

Eickhoff (9-12) tossed six effective innings in Wednesday's win over the White Sox, allowing just four hits and two runs while striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff has provided an interesting mix of good news and bad news for fantasy owners lately. Good news: He threw only 71 pitches in an efficient outing. Bad news: He got pulled after six innings anyway despite the presence of the DH in this interleague game. Good news: He's won three of his last four starts. Bad news: Wednesday's outing represents his only quality start in that time. Good news: He's refrained from issuing a walk three times in his last five outings. Bad news: He's given up seven homers over that span, including one in the sixth inning Wednesday that ruined his shutout bid. Eickhoff thus remains mostly a streaming option outside of deeper formats.

Eickhoff allowed four runs on seven hits over six innings against the Dodgers on Thursday. He struck out eight and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff got off to a rough start allowing three runs in the first on a Justin Turner home run, but settled in after that allowing just a solo homer in the fourth. The home runs have become a concern of late for Eickhoff, as he has allowed two in each of his last three starts. He'll face the White Sox in Chicago in his next start.

Eickoff (8-12) allowed a season-high 10 hits, but he held Colorado to just three runs over 5.2 innings in a 6-3 victory on Saturday. He also struck out three and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Colorado had eight base runners in the first five frames but failed to push across a run. The Rockies finally broke through with a pair of homers in the sixth to pull within a run. But the Philadelphia bullpen shut the door from there, so Eickoff earned his eighth victory of the season. He also has a 3.82 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 120 strikeouts in 143.2 innings. His next start will be Friday against the Cardinals.

Eickhoff picked up his seventh win of the season in Sunday's 6-5 victory over the Padres. He allowed four runs on five hits over six innings while striking out five and walking none.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff entered the sixth inning with a 5-2 lead, but gave up three runs that inning before the Phillies scored one in the top of the seventh to give him the victory. Wins have been hard to come by this season for Eickhoff thanks in part to a Phillies offense that is among the worst in Major League Baseball. He is scheduled to face the Rockies at home in his next start.

Eickhoff was removed from his start Sunday following a rain delay, Matt Gelb of the Philly Inquirer reports. He had thrown just 51 pitches.
EDGE Analysis
The rain delay was only 24 minutes long, but that was long enough for Philadelphia brass to pull the 26-year-old from the game. It was admittedly a bit of a surprising move, as Eickhoff had been cruising through five innings of scoreless, two-hit ball. No word of an injury has surfaced just yet, so it sounds like the Phillies are just being overly cautious.

Eickhoff (6-12) allowed just one run on five hits and a walk and struck out eight over seven innings but still took the loss Tuesday against Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff continues to get almost no support from his teammates. Entering Tuesday, the Phillies were giving Eickhoff just 3.4 runs of support per game started, which tied him for sixth-lowest in the National League with Atlanta's Matt Wisler. He is clearly not as bad as his record -- after Tuesday's gem, he owns a 3.83 ERA and a slick 111:31 K:BB in 127 innings.
