Eickoff (8-12) allowed a season-high 10 hits, but he held Colorado to just three runs over 5.2 innings in a 6-3 victory on Saturday. He also struck out three and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Colorado had eight base runners in the first five frames but failed to push across a run. The Rockies finally broke through with a pair of homers in the sixth to pull within a run. But the Philadelphia bullpen shut the door from there, so Eickoff earned his eighth victory of the season. He also has a 3.82 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 120 strikeouts in 143.2 innings. His next start will be Friday against the Cardinals.
