Eickhoff (9-13) allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over six innings in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff turned in a second straight quality start, but stood little chance of winning against a dominant Max Scherzer. The 26-year-old has pitched more than six innings just once in his last 10 starts, and his inability to go deep into games only detracts from what is already a vanilla resume. Monday's road start in Miami probably won't go very well considering Eickhoff has an 0-3 record against the Marlins this season.
