Eickhoff allowed just a single run on five hits and three walks while striking out just two batters through six innings during Saturday's loss to Arizona. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff had allowed at least three runs in each of his past nine outings for a 6.46 ERA and 1.78 WHIP, so Saturday's outing against a strong offense was his best in some time. Still, with an underwhelming 4.81 ERA and 1.51 WHIP for the campaign, Eickhoff is hardly a go-to fantasy asset. He projects to face the Diamondbacks again in his next start, but this time, the venue is hitter-friendly Chase Field.

Eickhoff dealt with some cramping in his right shoulder during Monday's game against the Red Sox, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff downplayed the issue, saying it was due to dehydration and was "no big deal." Considering he threw a quality start with six strikeouts against Boston despite the cramping, there's little reason to think he's in jeopardy of missing his weekend home start against the Diamondbacks.

Eickhoff allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks across six innings in a no-decision Monday against the Red Sox. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff allowed a multitude of baserunners in the second and third innings as he allowed three runs, and he tacked on an unearned tally as Jackie Bradley came around to score following an error in the fourth. He still threw the ball quite well, hitting the strike zone at a 67 percent clip, and the six strikeouts were his highest total since May 16. Quality starts have been hard to come by for Eickhoff, as this was just his second such feat since the third outing of the season, and it lowered his ERA to an uninspiring 5.09. The right-hander has still yet to taste victory for the first time in 2017 and will look to nab that elusive win Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

Eickhoff (0-7) gave up four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk over five innings in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Nothing new here -- Eickhoff's given up at least three earned runs in seven of his last eight starts, and with a 5.15 ERA and 1.53 WHIP, the winless wonder isn't enticing fantasy owners despite his decent strikeout rate. The peripherals indicate that perhaps he's a bit better than these ratios would indicate, but the Phillies are an awful team, which is dragging all their pitchers down.

Eickhoff (0-6) allowed five runs, four of which were earned, on six hits and five walks while striking out two over 2.2 innings to take the loss Friday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff was absolutely brutal in this outing as he allowed 11 baserunners in less than three innings of work. His ERA soared from 4.74 to 5.13, and he's a poor fantasy option, even in deep leagues. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Braves.

Eickhoff (0-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out four over 5.1 innings, but didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff gave up a two-run homer in the first inning before holding the Reds scoreless until giving up a run in the sixth inning to erase a 3-2 lead he was given. With just a pair of quality starts over his last seven starts to go along with a 4.74 ERA, he's been a fairly weak fantasy option. He'll make his next start Friday against the Giants.

Eickhoff (0-5) allowed four runs on nine hits with no walks across six innings in Monday's loss to the Rockies. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff tossed a trio of one-two-three innings in this one, but three runs on four hits in the third frame and a sacrifice fly in the sixth amounted to another ho-hum performance. As has become a common theme, he received little run support from his teammates and is still in search of his first win of the season. Eickhoff started the year with three consecutive quality starts, but he has allowed four or more runs in four of his last five outings to push his ERA up to 4.70. He has also recorded more than five strikeouts just once in that same span, bringing his K/9 down to 8.2, and he will look to right the ship Saturday against the Reds.

Eickhoff was tagged with his fourth loss of the season Tuesday after allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits over six innings against the Rangers. He struck out eight and walked two.
EDGE Analysis
Eickhoff had an ERA of 8.40 over his last three starts, so Tuesday's outing was a step back in the right direction for him. His eight strikeouts were a season-high. The righty has yet to pick up a win this season despite allowing three or less runs in five of his eight starts.

Eickhoff allowed five earned runs on eight hits and three walks over 3.2 innings Tuesday against Seattle. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
This was the shortest outing of Eickhoff's career, largely due to issues with his command. He threw almost half of his pitches for balls, and was victimized by two home runs on pitches left over the heart of the plate. Philadelphia's offense took him off the hook for the loss in this contest, but his first victory of the season continues to elude him. Fourteen earned runs have now crossed the plate in Eickhoff's last three starts. He'll try to right the ship next Tuesday at Texas.

Eickhoff (0-3) gave up four runs on five hits and two walks over 5.2 innings in Wednesday's loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
He was actually outpitching Jake Arrieta until the sixth inning, when he gave up a trio of singles, then watched the bullpen allow the two runners he bequeathed to score. Eickhoff hasn't been as bad as his record would imply, but after pitching at least six innings in his first three outings, he's now failed to complete six frames in three straight. Although he doesn't have a ton of upside, there's some degree of fantasy value to be gained from Eickhoff, as he's a decent pitcher in a relatively unappealing team context.
