DeGrom was deGrom-inant Sunday, throwing a complete-game one-hitter to earn the win against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom also allowed one walk while striking out seven and facing just one batter over the minimum. In his last nine starts, deGrom has posted a 1.92 ERA, lowering his ERA to 2.38 on the year after a slow start. DeGrom benefited from the extra rest afforded by the All-Star break and starting the third game after that break, but that doesn't diminish just how dominant he was Sunday.

DeGrom will start the Mets' fourth game after the All-Star break, Monday against the Cubs, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bartolo Colon will start Friday and then be followed by Logan Verrett, Steven Matz, deGrom and Noah Syndergaard. The Mets were looking to give Matz, deGrom and Syndergaard some additional rest and accomplish this by starting Colon and Verrett the first two games after the break. DeGrom, after dealing with decreased velocity the first part the season, has regained the MPH on his fastball the past several weeks. He will look to continue his fine pitching in a tough matchup against Chicago.

Mets' and All-Star game manager Terry Collins offer a spot in the Midsummer Classic to deGrom, who turned it down saying, "I'm beat," the NY Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom dealt with decreased velocity earlier in the season following his heavy workload last year, forcing him to rely on his pitching and mental fortitude to work out of jams. That took a toll on deGrom, who welcomed the All-Star break as a way to recharge and refresh his mind and body. The Mets will try and give deGrom extra rest the second half of the season to keep him fresh for the stretch run.

deGrom (5-4) allowed two runs on six hits, struck out seven and walked two over seven innings in a victory over the Marlins on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The only two runs he yielded came on Giancarlo Stanton solo homers. deGrom is off to a great start in July, allowing just three runs in 12 innings. He also has 14 strikeouts versus three walks in those two July outings. In his last three starts, deGrom has a 1.35 ERA. Overall, deGrom is 5-4 with a 2.61 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 91 strikeouts in 93 innings.

DeGrom (4-4) gave up three hits, an earned run and a walk over five innings in Friday's 10-2 victory over the Cubs. He struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old ace only surrendered a solo homer to Kris Bryant in terms of runs, and left after only 85 pitches due to the game being mired in a third rain delay for an extended period of time. DeGrom threw 52 of 85 pitches for strikes, and induced 11 swinging strikes overall. He managed to get back in the win column after dropping four straight decisions, and lowered his ERA for the second straight start. He'll try to continue on the right track when he takes on the Marlins next Wednesday.

deGrom (3-4) allowed no runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over eight innings, but received no decision Saturday at the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
deGrom pitched a gem, but Julio Teheran matched him pitch-for-pitch, and the game was in a scoreless tie upon his departure. He's now fired six straight quality starts, and he owns a 2.67 along with a 1.12 WHIP. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Cubs.

DeGrom (3-4) gave up three runs on five hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out six, in a 6-0 loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Julio Teheran was busy spinning a one-hit shutout opposite him, so deGrom had no chance at coming away a winner despite his quality start. He's actually turned in five straight QS and nine in 12 starts on the season, but a lack of run support has seen him lose four straight decisions after a 3-0 start. He'll look for a little more help from his teammates in a rematch with Teheran and the Braves in Atlanta on Saturday.

deGrom (3-3) struck out nine and allowed two runs in six hits and a walk over six innings but still took the loss Tuesday against Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
In his past two starts, both against the Pirates, deGrom has 18 strikeouts and allowed just 13 baserunners over 12 innings but still wound up with two losses. He hasn't won since April 30, but it's hard to argue with deGrom's form of late. In his last four starts, he has four quality starts with 35 strikeouts against just six walks. The Mets' depleted lineup is going to make it hard to win until reinforcements arrive, but if he keeps pitching like this, victories are inevitable.

DeGrom was a tough-luck loser Tuesday versus the Pirates as he allowed three runs while striking out nine and walking not a single batter across six strong innings.
EDGE Analysis
DeGrom allowed just two extra-base hits Tuesday, but each came with a man on base, setting up all of the runs he would ultimately yield. The long-haired righty now has an impressive 2.80 ERA and a solid 1.15 WHIP through 61 innings pitched, but a real lack of run support has seen him lose or earn a no decision in five quality starts thus far. However, he has compiled a 11.88 K/9 rate over his last four starts after posting a relatively low 5.75 mark through his first six, and all signs point to the wins rolling in if he continues to perform at this level. He will have the opportunity to do just that against this same Pirates club at home on Tuesday.

Updating a previous report: The Mets announced that Monday's rained out game in Pittsburgh will be made up in a doubleheader Tuesday, meaning that deGrom will get the start in Tuesday's Game 2, Stephen J. Nesbitt of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
EDGE Analysis
The immediate news out of Pittsburgh suggested that deGrom's start would be moved back to Wednesday, although that won't ultimately manifest with Steven Matz getting the nod in Game 1.
