Anderson recorded his first victory with the Dodgers as he allowed two runs- one earned- with six hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings in Wednesday's win over the Mariners.
Anderson's only earned run was a solo shot by Nelson Cruz, who has gone deep in a career-best five consecutive games. Wednesday's win was Anderson's first of the season for the Dodgers and he'll look to pick up his second when he takes the mound against the Giants on Tuesday.

Anderson was roughed up for three runs on seven hits in just 1.2 innings Thursday against the Angels.
They were the first runs of the spring for Anderson, but that was pretty ugly. He's sporting a 4.05 spring ERA now and still appears to be in line to be the team's No. 5 starter, possibly making his regular season LA debut on Saturday, April 11 in Arizona unless the Dodgers choose to utilize the April 9 off-day to skip his start.

Anderson (back) is currently throwing from up to 150 feet and will begin mound work again next week, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
After undergoing season-ending back surgery in August, Anderson signed on with the Dodgers during free agency and should compete for a spot in their starting rotation. The 26-year-old has been plagued by injuries in the past, but it appears as though his rehab has been going well and that he'll be good to go by the start of spring training.

Anderson agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract with the Dodgers on Monday.
Anderson's deal includes $4 million in possible incentives, meaning he could earn up to $14 million in 2015. The 26-year-old started just eight games for the Rockies in 2014 to the tune of a 2.91 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 29 strikeouts over 43.1 innings. However, his past track record with the Athletics, the promise he showed in his eight starts last season and the value of starting pitching has landed him in the double-digit millions. Anderson is coming off surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back, but he could be ready for spring training.

Anderson (back) will throw a baseball for the first time since undergoing back surgery in August.
Anderson suffered the back issue late in the season after dealing with a finger injury earlier. He made just eight starts on the year, finishing with a 2.91 ERA and 1.32 WHIP. The Rockies declined his $12 million option in the offseason, and Anderson is currently a free agent. He will likely receive a shot somewhere, but at a reduced value.

Anderson (back) had his $12 million team option declined by the Rockies on Saturday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.
Anderson had surgery to repair a herniated disc in August that ended his season early after he started the season on the 60-day DL with a broken finger. The team decided to pay the $1.5 million buyout instead of exercising his option, and Anderson will become a free agent.
