Anderson (back) will throw a baseball for the first time since undergoing back surgery in August. Anderson suffered the back issue late in the season after dealing with a finger injury earlier. He made just eight starts on the year, finishing with a 2.91 ERA and 1.32 WHIP. The Rockies declined his $12 million option in the offseason, and Anderson is currently a free agent. He will likely receive a shot somewhere, but at a reduced value.
