Hicks will start in center field and bat second Wednesday against the Blue Jays, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Jacoby Ellsbury (elbow) unavailable, Hicks finds himself in the lineup for the second game in a row, and in the No. 2 spot for the second time in four games. Hicks has been a serviceable cog in the lineup when he's played this season, amassing a .300/.419/.640 line in 63 plate appearances, but unless Ellsbury, Brett Gardner or Aaron Judge miss extended time due to injury, Hicks is unlikely to see regular action.

Hicks went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, a run and two RBI during Sunday's win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Off to an excellent start to the campaign, the 27-year-old outfielder is pushing for more consistent playing time. Hicks sports a .318/.484/.773 slash line with five runs, three home runs and eight RBI over just 31 plate appearances. He'll probably have to settle for semi-regular at-bats for the time being, though, as Jacoby Ellsbury, Brett Gardner and Aaron Judge are also in the outfield mix.

Hicks is batting second and manning right field for the Yankees' matinee against the Cardinals on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The switch-hitter receives the start in the place of Aaron Judge, who went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Friday. Hicks has put together a nice start at the plate to begin the season, going 5-for-16 with two home runs and a 1.226 OPS.

Hicks went 2-for-3 and homered twice in Thursday's win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks drove in all three of the team's run in the win, starting things off with a solo shot in the first inning and then delivering the game-winning two-run blast in the seventh inning when the Yankees trailed 2-1. The switch hitter homered from each side of the plate, and while he figured to see somewhat regular at-bats against lefties anyway, it's encouraging to see him hit southpaws well in the early going. The 27-year-old hit just .161 against left-handed pitching in his first year in pinstripes last year, so he'll have to show sustained improvement to keep being penciled into the lineup.

Hicks is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matinee against the Rays, batting second and manning left field.
EDGE Analysis
It marks the third start in the last four games for Hicks, who is 4-for-10 with a run scored on the season. The switch-hitter batted just .161 against lefties last season and the Rays are lined up to start southpaw Blake Snell, so Wednesday may not be his ideal matchup.

Hicks will man center field and bat second in the order Sunday against the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees are holding out Jacoby Ellsbury in the series finale for rest purposes and Gary Sanchez (biceps) landed on the disabled list following Saturday's game, so Hicks will have the opportunity to claim a prime spot in the lineup Sunday. The switch-hitting Hicks has fared better against lefties than right-handers over his career, so he could have some upside as a low-cost DFS option with southpaw Wade Miley taking the hill for the Orioles.

Hicks is batting eighth and starting in right field for Saturday's contest against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks will get his first start of the season in place of the slumping Aaron Judge, a major opportunity for the veteran outfielder. He represents an interesting role player as a switch-hitter, but will need to improve upon his .217 average from last season if he's aiming for an everyday spot. Regardless, if Hicks gets hot and Judge stays cold, there could be a change in order.

Hicks is still being considered for the everyday role in right field, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Following an underwhelming first season in pinstripes, Hicks entered the offseason looking like the club's fourth outfielder in line for something of a platoon role to give the regulars days off against left-handed pitching. Aaron Judge, the favorite to start in right coming into the spring, has had a solid showing in Grapefruit League play but has apparently left enough room open in the competition, as he's been surprisingly quiet in the power department and has continued his overly free-swinging ways. Judge still likely has the upper hand, but the fact that the team hasn't named the Opening Day starter yet could bode well for Hicks.

Hicks agreed to a one-year deal with the Yankees on Friday, avoiding arbitration.
EDGE Analysis
The terms of the agreement were not announced. It was a season to forget last year for Hicks, as he not only struggled against righties (86 wRC+), but was awful against lefties (25 wRC+), and he was supposed to be a southpaw killer. He enters this season as a bench bat for the Yankees.

Hicks went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks in Friday's 8-1 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The young outfielder was the only Yankee player to get on base three times in the blowout loss. Following a dismal first half of the season, Hicks has been more consistent after the All-Star break, with a .250/.311/.390 line over 136 at-bats after he managed to hit just .197 before the Midsummer Classic.
