Hicks is out of the lineup for Wednesday night's game against Arizona, Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks has started 10 of the last 11 games and so will get the night off with Jacoby Ellsbury getting the start in center field. The 26-year-old is emerging from a beginning-of-the-season-slump as he's raised his average from .067 to .211 over the last 14 games. It's tough to say if Hicks will be back in the lineup for Thursday's game against Oakland as the Yankees have the three-piece of Brett Gardner, Carlos Beltran, and Ellsbury that they could choose to go with again.

Hicks is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees are welcoming back Jacoby Ellsbury (hip) to the lineup after an eight-day absence, but his return won't necessarily result in Hicks getting phased out of the lineup over the next few days. Since Alex Rodriguez (hamstring) remains on the DL, Carlos Beltran is likely to serve as the team's regular DH, leaving Hicks and Dustin Ackley to vie for duties in right field. Though Ackley will receive the starting nod Sunday, Hicks is beginning to heat up with at least one hit in five of his last six games, and could ultimately claim the lion's share of the duties at the position.

Hicks will start in center field and bat leadoff Friday against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
With Jacoby Ellsbury (hip) still sidelined and the Yankees facing a lefty in Chris Sale, Hicks will be afforded his first start atop the order as a member of the Yankees. Hicks got off to a poor start and is just 3-for-23 against southpaws so far this season, but he had an .870 OPS against lefties last year and has shown some signs of life recently, going 9-for-32 with a pair of homers to begin May.

Hicks went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder has had an abysmal start to the season, but he's now 6-for-10 over the last three games with three RBI. With a .216 average and just two homers, it's hard to argue that Hicks deserves a spot in fantasy lineups right now. However, he's capable of better numbers, as he hit .256 with 11 home runs in 97 games with the Twins last season.

Hicks was 1-for-2 with a solo home run in the Yankees' victory over Boston on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
It was Hicks' first home run as he is off to a horrible start. He's hitting just .115 on the year, but with Alex Rodriguez now on the disabled list, and Jacoby Ellsbury leaving this game early, he could be in line for considerably more playing time, especially if Ellsbury's injury keeps him out of the lineup for any length of time.

Hicks is batting ninth and starting in right field Wednesday against the Orioles, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Alex Rodriguez headed to the disabled list, Carlos Beltran should man a regular spot as the designated hitter while Hicks replaces him in right field. He's off to a putrid start, batting just .077 on the season with two hits in 26 at-bats. With regular at-bats, he'll try to work back into form as someone who hit lefties to the tune of .307 last year with a .870 OPS (vs. just a .661 against righties last year).

Hicks (shoulder) is batting seventh in the order and manning right field Sunday in Boston, Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks will start for the first time since April 22, as a sore left has contained him to one at-bat in two appearances in the interim. He'll take over for Carlos Beltran in the outfield, but can be expected to return to a reserve role Tuesday in Baltimore.

Hicks (shoulder) is not in the lineup Saturday against Boston, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks is still battling a sore left shoulder and remains out of the lineup for the seventh consecutive game. The 26-year-old's only action since last Saturday came as a pinch runner in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers. Continue to consider Hicks' day-to-day until the team indicates otherwise.

Hicks remained out of the lineup Friday against the Red Sox, the Wall Street Journal's Jared Diamond reports.
EDGE Analysis
With lefty Henry Owens on the mound for the Red Sox, one would assume that Hicks would be in the lineup if he was healthy, so it's safe to say he's still not 100 percent. New York faces a southpaw again on Sunday in David Price, so that would likely be Hicks' next opportunity to get back in the lineup.

Hicks (shoulder) entered Wednesday loss in the ninth inning as a pinch-runner.
EDGE Analysis
Hicks had been completely unavailable during the previous four games, but his appearance is an encouraging sign as the Yankees can no longer backdate a DL stint. The club has an off day Thursday but is scheduled to face the left-handed Henry Owens on Friday, so it's possible Hicks will return to the lineup then.
