Tatar dished out an assist Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
After a monster 2014-15 in which Tatar scored 29 goals and 56 points, his production has been a little rockier this season. He's not having a bad season by any means, but fantasy owners were certainly hoping he'd take another step forward instead of one back.

Tatar scored and assisted on a Pavel Datsyuk goal during Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
His third-period marker brought the Red Wings to within one, but it was as close as they would get. Tatar now has four points in his last five games, and 41 for the season. The 25-year-old has been a solid producer for fantasy owners all season

Tatar tallied a power-play goal in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old has been playing some great hockey as of late, and now has five points in his last five games, including two power-play points. Tatar is up to 38 points on the season, but his ice time has been all over the place, ranging from 9:25-16:04 in the last four games. If he can get consistent minutes, Tatar has the tools to be a reliable source of fantasy production.

Tatar picked up an assist in Wednesday's 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar's line with Gustav Nyquist and Riley Sheahan has picked up the pace the last few games, and Tatar has a goal and three assists in his past four contests. He appears to be over his drought from early February and is producing at a high clip again.

Tatar snapped an eight-game goalless drought and added an assist in Saturday's Stadium Series win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar opened the scoring Saturday, helping Detroit to an eventual 5-3 win over the Avs. While the 25-year-old had previously gone eight straight games without a point, he still has 17 goals and 35 points in 61 games on the season. Tatar isn't a massive point producer, but he's capable of lighting the lamp consistently, making him valuable in most fantasy formats.

Tatar did not score in Tuesday's 2-1 shootout win against Columbus, his eighth straight contest without a point.
EDGE Analysis
This is a career-long drought for Tatar, who has had a dynamite start to his NHL career. He's regressed a little bit after scoring 29 goals and 56 points last season, but the Red Wings as a whole have had a little more trouble scoring than in the past. He should find a seat on your bench until he finds his scoring stroke once again.

Tatar's 16th goal of the season ended up being the game-winner in a 3-0 victory over Florida on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar has been on fire since the All-Star Break, with five points in four games. He's nipping at Dylan Larkin's heels for the team lead in goals, and should be in your lineup if you have him.

Tatar found twine and dished out an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the visiting Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar now has points in three straight and five over his last five games. He only played 11:37 in Saturday's matinee -- which was over three minutes less than his season average -- but there hasn't been talk of any type of injury so it's probably more to do with the fact the Wings were up by four goals midway through the second and giving their bottom-six forwards more ice time. Regardless, Tatar now has 32 points in 51 games and is on pace for 51 points this season, so he'll need to crank it up a notch down the stretch if he hopes to eclipse last year's career-high 56-point campaign.

Tatar picked up an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar isn't quite matching last year's breakout campaign, but does have 14 goals and 15 points in 49 games. He's unlikely to hit 56 point like in 2014-15, but 50 is not out of the question.

As expected, Tatar (illness) will play Friday against the Sabres, Gregg Krupa of The Detroit News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar missed Wednesday's game against St. Louis due to an illness, but was able to practice Thursday, which was the first indication he would likely be available for Friday's tilt.  The former second-round pick has played pretty well this season, tallying 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 45 games.
