Tatar found twine and dished out an assist in Saturday's 5-1 win over the visiting Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar now has points in three straight and five over his last five games. He only played 11:37 in Saturday's matinee -- which was over three minutes less than his season average -- but there hasn't been talk of any type of injury so it's probably more to do with the fact the Wings were up by four goals midway through the second and giving their bottom-six forwards more ice time. Regardless, Tatar now has 32 points in 51 games and is on pace for 51 points this season, so he'll need to crank it up a notch down the stretch if he hopes to eclipse last year's career-high 56-point campaign.
