Tatar scored the only Detroit goal in a 3-1 loss to Edmonton on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was Tatar's first of the season after scoring 29 in last year's breakout campaign. Owners shouldn't fret, however, as Tatar had an even worse start to last season (one point in his first seven games) and that turned out just fine for the young winger.

EDGE Analysis
Tatar has received the least amount of ice time for players in Detroit's first three lines at just a 14-minute average. Tatar posted a hat trick and was plus-3 in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Tatar evidently enjoys having newcomer Brad Richards around, as Richards set the table on all three scores. Still, Tatar is quite talented in his own right. The versatile winger played in every game last year and finished with 29 goals and 27 assists. Look for him to maintain a top-six role throughout the 2015-16 campaign.
