Tim Thomas was sensational as he picked up the shutout on Saturday.
Thomas has played well despite the Bruins lackluster start. He got a lot of help up-front and he shut down the Toronto attack in their 7-0 win. In the end he stopped all 25 shots he faced. The shutout was his first of the season, giving him a 5-4-0 record.

Tim Thomas turned aside 23 of 26 shots on his way to a 5-3 victory over the Senators Tuesday night.
The Bruins trailed in this game by a score of 2-1 after the first period, but Thomas settled down from that point forward and was a sturdy presence for the remainder of the game. It's impossible to expect him to repeat last season's performance, but he could still be a top-five fantasy option.

Tim Thomas will be in goal for Boston's game Tuesday night against the Senators.
Coach Claude Julien was typically coy about his starter, but Thomas has now been confirmed as the man for tonight. Adjust your lineups accordingly.

Tim Thomas allowed two goals on 35 shots in Boston's 2-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night.
What Thomas accomplished during the 2010-11 regular season and the playoffs was certainly both extraordinary and Hasek-like rare. Thomas will obviously be hard-pressed to offer an encore performance this year but still remains a number one goalie in the fantasy world.

Tim Thomas was decent however Boston fell to San Jose 4-2 on Saturday.
Thomas did not receive much help as Boston was behind most of the game. He ended up with 26 saves on 29 shots total. Look for Tuukka Rask to get in net in the near future. Thomas' record fell to 3-3-0.

Tim Thomas has allowed just two or fewer goals in four of his first five starts.
Thomas is showing no signs of fatigue after winning the Vezina Trophy and carrying the Boston Bruins through the Stanley Cup playoffs. He's not expected to start in as many games as some of the other top-tier goaltenders, but he should be among the league leaders in GAA and save percentage this season.

Tim Thomas stopped Chicago's three best players in Saturday night's shootout win.
He turned aside Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Sharp to secure the win for the Bruins. For those of you who have been quick to downgrade Thomas due to a projected job share arrangement with Tuukka Rask, perhaps you should re-evaluate. Boston, like all NHL teams, are in in the business of winning games. If Thomas gives the B's the best chance to do so, he will play. We still think he will get into a minimum of 55 games.

Tim Thomas should be considered Boston's probable starter on Wednesday night after he was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate.
He has a 1-1-0 record this season to go with a .945 save percentage and a 1.51 goals-against average in two appearances.

Tim Thomas turned aside 25 of the 26 shots he faced, allowing only three goals in his first two starts.
Thomas got some offensive support this time, which should be an on going issue all season. Boston may be the defending champs, but it wasn't because of the teams ability to put the puck in the net. Thomas will keep putting up gaudy numbers, but needs his team to pull their weight offensively like they did against Tampa.
