Marner's point streak stands at three games and four assists with two helpers in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
The Leafs missed his creativity while he was hurt, but Marner is back like he never missed a beat. He now has 52 points in 60 games.

Marner (upper body) has been officially activated off IR by the Maple Leafs, TSN.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
In a corresponding move the Leafs sent Frederik Gauthier to the AHL, while Marner is slated to suit up Tuesday night against the Sharks, working on a line with James van Riemsdyk and Tyler Bozak. Marner is currently Toronto's second-leading point-getter behind Auston Matthews, having racked up 48 points (including 15 goals) in 56 games to date.

Coach Mike Babcock told reporters he expected to have Marner (upper body) in the lineup against the Sharks on Tuesday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marner has missed the Leafs' last five outings and technically remains on IR, but should be back in action barring a last minute setback. Prior to getting hurt, the youngster had racked up 21 points in 20 outings, including nine scored with the man advantage. The unheralded winger trails only Patrik Laine and teammate Auston Matthews for the rookie scoring title and could certainly be in contention for the Calder Trophy. Nikita Soshnikov figures to be the odd man out with Marner back in the lineup.

Marner (upper body) will not be available against the Rangers on Thursday, David Alter of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marner will miss his fourth straight outing Thursday and is falling behind teammate Auston Matthews for the Leafs' scoring lead. Of the youngsters 48 points, Marner has registered 15 with the man advantage where he is averaging 2:27 of ice time per game. The Ontario native's consistency and youth should make him a top-end fantasy play in nearly all formats.

Marner (upper body) was designated for injured reserve Tuesday, with the transaction retroactive to Feb. 15.
EDGE Analysis
This move cleared a roster spot for Frederik Gauthier, who ascends from AHL Toronto. Marner will not be eligible to return to game ice until Thursday's home tilt opposing the Rangers, and it's too early to determine whether he'll be healthy enough to go at that time. You would be hard-pressed to find a replacement in fantasy that can match Marner's production -- he's recorded 48 points (15 goals, 33 assists) in 56 games as a rookie -- but it's worth noting that his teammate Josh Leivo has stepped up by averaging a point per game over the last six and warrants attention in deeper formats.

Marner (upper body) will miss his second straight game when the Maple Leafs take on the Hurricanes on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
It's a shame to see Marner miss more time, as he had been very productive in the weeks before going down with the injury -- he netted four goals and recorded five helpers in the eight games before getting injured against Columbus. Nikita Soshnikov will likely continue to see playing time, while Josh Leivo could look to keep taking advantage of his expanded role in the offense.

Marner (upper body) has officially been ruled out for Saturday's game against the visiting Senators, Chris Johnston of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
Given that he missed Friday's practice, the writing was on the wall that the shifty power-play pivot would miss this next contest. Hopefully, the malady doesn't disrupt Marner's momentum in what has been a phenomenal rookie campaign (48 points -- including 15 on the man advantage -- in 56 games). Teammate Auston Matthews seems to be getting more fanfare than Marner based on the former going No. 1 overall in the 2016 draft, but it's Double M with slightly higher totals; still, both players have been absolute gems in the fantasy landscape. It'll certainly be worth checking back to see if Marner travels to Raleigh for Sunday's game against the Hurricanes.

Marner (upper body) was not present for practice Friday, one day ahead of a home game versus the Senators, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
If an injured star is able to practice on the power play, that generally bodes well for his chances of suiting up in the next game. However, that's not the case for Marner, as Josh Leivo was with top man-advantage unit in place of the rookie during Friday's session, and Connor Brown assumed the No. 2 spot. There's bound to be another update from the Leafs on the high-flying rookie before their next contest, though fantasy owners shouldn't count on him playing at this point.

Marner exited Wednesday's 5-2 loss to Columbus in the third period due to an undisclosed injury, Josh Cooper of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Marner appeared to be in pain after slamming into the boards in the second period of Wednesday's contest. The sensational rookie continued to play, but was seen speaking to the team's medical staff after every shift before exiting in the third period. The Maple Leafs' coaching staff may have yanked the 19-year-old forward from the game as a precautionary measure, but it's certainly a situation worth monitoring. More information regarding Marner's status for Saturday's matchup with Ottawa should be made available after he's evaluated Friday .

Marner stretched his point streak to three games and five points (two goals, three assists) with two assists in Saturday's 6-5 win over Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Marner sits on top of the rookie scoring chase with 44 points (50 games). One of his helpers came on the game-winning goal, which came at the 18:24 mark of the third period. Coach Mike Babcock already trusts the 19-year-old at the end of the game. That's heady praise for someone so young. Marner remains a must-start fantasy option.
