Kevin Hayes logged a goal and an assist in Tuesday's win over Washington.
EDGE Analysis
The sophomore was one of four forwards on the night to log at least a goal and an assist. While Hayes continues to log third line minutes he improves his totals to three goals and eight points through 12 games this season.

Hayes scored the game's eventual game-winner in Thursday's 4-1 victory over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
An early third period goal is likely bringing more relief to fantasy owners than the team's locker room. After collecting three points in his first three games of the season, Thursday's point snaps a four-game point-scoring drought for the sophomore winger. Currently logging third-line minutes, fantasy owners are likely he can start stringing the points together again with the hopes of getting himself back into the team's top six.

Hayes found the net for his first goal of the season in Friday night's 4-2 win over Columbus.
EDGE Analysis
Hayes also logged a team-high (tied with Mats Zuccarello) four shots on goal and two minutes of power play time. With a seemingly sharper play in the neutral and defensive zones thus far, he should remain on the team's second unit. As long as he continues to log top-six time, with a goal and an assist in his first two contests, there's no reason to believe this kind of production won't continue. For now, play the sophomore with confidence.

Hayes will lineup on the wing on the team's second unit reports Andrew Gross of The Record.
EDGE Analysis
Perhaps the worst kept secret of training camp, Hayes will lineup with Chris Kreider and center Derek Stepan to start the season. The 23-year-old exceeded expectations in his rookie campaign, posting 17 goals and 28 assists mostly as a third line center. Armed with top-six minutes, sky's the limit for what was most likely a mid-to-late round pick in most draft formats.

Hayes assisted on both of Rick Nash's goals -- one on the power play -- Friday as the Rangers took Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final from the Lightning by a 5-1 tally. Hayes has been providing consistent offense since Game 7 against Washington -- he scored a goal in that one, keying a run of five points in five games. The young forward has looked lost at times in these playoffs, but he generates takeaways and offense brilliantly, and the fact that he was able to help Nash wake up Friday is quite promising.

Hayes potted a second-period power-play goal in Wednesday's Game 7 against the Capitals. The score tied the game in an eventual 2-1 Rangers overtime victory. After closing the regular season on a high note, Hayes' output has diminished throughout the postseason, but he at least managed to keep the Rangers alive by putting a well-timed pass from J.T. Miller in the back of the net. The 23-year-old has two goals and an assist over his 12 postseason contests.

Hayes tallied the game-winning goal in overtime of Wednesday's Game 4 against the Penguins. It's the first point of the postseason for the rookie center, whose superb second half has locked him into a pivotal role for the Rangers on the third line. Hayes previously tallied his first career game-winning goal back on Feb. 24 against the Flames, but suffice to say, Wednesday's was a little more memorable.

Hayes contributed a goal and assist in Saturday's regular-season finale against the Capitals. While he won't receive much attention for the Calder Trophy, Hayes finished his rookie season with a more-than-respectable line of 17 goals, 45 points, and a plus-15 rating. He was one of the Rangers' most productive forwards after the All-Star break with 29 second-half points, and should routinely see 15-plus minutes per game in the playoffs. Hayes should make for a fine, cost-effective option in daily formats throughout the first round.

Hayes scored a goal and added two assists while going plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over New Jersey. He scored the Rangers' first goal, assisted on Ryan McDonagh's power-play tally, and set up Carl Hagelin's empty netter. Hayes had cooled off recently, with just two points in the prior six games, but he's had an excellent rookie year nonetheless, with 43 points to his credit despite relatively limited ice time.
