Allen stopped 22 of 23 shots Thursday in a 2-1 win over the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
The struggling Anaheim offense didn't present much of a challenge for Allen, who allowed only a power-play goal in the second period. The 25-year-old netminder has been particularly excellent in his last two starts, and it's interesting to note that he's been in goal for four of the Blues' last six games as he tries to wrestle No. 1 duties from Brian Elliott. Elliott's been good, but Allen has been better.

Allen will be the starting goaltender Thursday night against the Ducks, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen will look to make his case to earn more starts in this game as the timeshare between the posts with Brian Elliot continues. The two goalies have had very similar outputs to this point of the season so every game is likely to matter as they fight for playing time. Elliot enjoys an extremely favorable matchup in this game against the Ducks, who are not only in last place in the Western Conference, but also last in the entire league in average goals scored per game, as they've potted a meager nine goals through nine contests.

Allen shut out the Lightning on Tuesday night, stopping all 26 shots he faced.
EDGE Analysis
This was just what the Doctor prescribed for Allen, as he was on the hook for two losses in the previous three games. He's locked in a goalie timeshare with Brian Elliott, making it tough for fantasy owners to consistently rely on either guy, but it's not a bad idea to play the matchups with the duo as the Blues are sporting a plus-5 goal differential and have been victorious in two-thirds of their contests.

Allen will start Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Coach Ken Hitchcock has proceeded with his plan to utilize Allen and Brian Elliot as "1A" and "1B" goaltenders. While neither has gotten off to a great start, Allen and his sub-.900 save percentage currently stand in the 1B position. Allen has an opportunity to make his case for jumping ahead of Elliot, but will need to do so against last year's Stanley Cup finalists who score at a rate of three goals per game.

Allen made 33 saves on 36 shots Tuesday, but was bested by Carey Price in a 3-0 loss to the Canadiens.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was simply starting the wrong game at the wrong time. Price brought the Blues' offense to a halt Tuesday, and while Allen turned in a strong performance, it was never going to be good enough. Allen has allowed three goals in each of his three starts this season and is close to falling into the title of permanent backup in St. Louis. His next start could come next Tuesday, in a dangerous matchup against the Lightning.

Allen will get the start Tuesday against the Canadiens, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
It'll be the third start of the season for Allen, but he's allowed three goals in his first two and appears to be falling behind on the depth chart thanks to the strong start by Brian Elliott. He'll draw a tough matchup against the undefeated Canadiens, as he looks to reestablish himself.

Allen made 31 saves on 34 shots in a win over the Canucks on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Allen got the win, but he's let in three goals in both of his starts so far. Two games is a very small sample size, but Brian Elliott is around, so Allen needs to impress to try and earn starts.

Allen will get the start in net Friday against Vancouver, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen struggled in his only start thus far this season, surrendering three goals on just 19 shots en route to a 3-2 loss to Minnesota. He'll look to turn in a better performance Friday against a Canucks squad that has netted 11 goals through the first four games of their season.

Allen gave up three goals on 19 shots in Saturday's loss to the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
Not the best start to the season for Allen, who is coming off a strong 2014-15 campaign in which he posted a 22-7-4 record. Considering Brian Elliott stopped 23 of 24 shots against the Oilers in the Blues' season opener, it's likely Allen will be sitting behind the bench come next game. The 25-year-old has great potential and should see a significant amount of action this season alongside Elliott, forming one of the league's best goaltending duos.

Allen will start in net Saturday against the Wild, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Blues will go with Brian Elliott in goal for the team's first game Thursday, but Allen will still receive his chance in the second game of the season. Expect the two to both receive consistent starts to begin with, as head coach Ken Hitchcock recently indicated a decision at goalie likely won't come until the end of October, but it will probably become a hot hand scenario after that.
