Allen earned his second shutout of the season with 45 saves over the Predators on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The win was the sixth of the season for Allen who has solidified his hold as the starting goaltender for the Blues. Allen has been on fire, in his last six games he has only allowed six goals and is about as close to a must start as you can get at this point in time.

Allen will be in net Saturday to face the Predators, Andrew Allsman of KMOV.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has been slamming the door on the opposition with regularity, allowing a grand total of six goals over the past five appearances. Meanwhile, fellow netminder Brian Elliott has been shaky as he let in three goals on 22 shots against the Islanders on Oct. 24, and was yanked from a start this past Wednesday after the Blackhawks burned him with four goals in just 17:03 TOI. It appears the Blues are utilizing the hot-hand approach in goal this season.

Allen entered Wednesday's game late in the first period, turning aside 27 of 28 shots en route to a 6-5 OT win over the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Allen came into the game late in the first after Brian Elliott left with an undisclosed injury after allowing four goals. The Blues roared back in front of Allen to score four consecutive goals to give him his fifth victory of the season, so his owners who had him in their lineup were treated to a nice little surprise. Allen had made four straight starts prior to Wednesday, so if even if Elliott isn't forced to miss extended time, it appears that Allen has a clear leg up in the battle for starting duty in St. Louis.

Allen played well against the Kings on Tuesday, stopping 31 of 33 shots, but was stuck with a 3-0 loss.
EDGE Analysis
That's a tough break for Allen, who's maintained a consistently high level of play this year, with Tuesday's effort no exception despite it marking the end of his three-game winning streak. Allen's made four consecutive starts for the Blues, but that streak too will end Wednesday, as Brian Elliott will surely be in goal against Chicago for the second of this week's back-to-back set.

Allen will be Tuesday's starter against Los Angeles, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen's strong play of late seems to have edged him ahead of fellow netminder Brian Elliott, as he will start his fourth consecutive game Tuesday. In his previous three starts, Allen is 3-0-0 with an eye-popping 0.98 goals against average and .963 save percentage. Though the Kings pose a serious threat to Allen's hot-streak, do not be surprised if Allen continues to flourish, knowing that he is gaining coach Ken Hitchcock's trust.

Allen stopped 29 of 31 shots in Saturday's overtime win over the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
It was the third consecutive start for Allen, who has stopped 77 of the last 80 shots he's faced. With three straight wins, the 25-year-old advances to 4-2-0 on the season with a .929 save percentage. Look for the Blues to continue riding the hot hand.

Allen will try to stop pucks as the starter against the visiting Wild on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
It's the third consecutive start for Allen, who has stood on his head with brilliant play over the past two appearances. After shutting out a tough Bolts offense Tuesday, he turned aside 22 of 23 shots against the offensively challenged Ducks two days later. It appears the Blues are playing the matchups with Allen and Brian Elliott, so fantasy owners should considering follow suit.
