Allen was phenomenal Sunday, stopping 38 of 39 shots in a win over Chicago. What a performance from Allen, who is now 10-1-2 in his last 13 games. He's allowed just six goals in his last four games, dropping his GAA to 2.36 -- 16th best in the NHL. With Brian Elliott struggling, the Blues could continue to play the hot hand and keep the 24-year-old Allen rolling.

Allen will be between the pipes for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Though the Blues were able to escape with a 7-5 win Friday night, Brian Elliott's recent swoon could be warranting some concern with the postseason approaching. Coach Ken Hitchcock has continued to stand by Elliott as his No. 1 netminder, but Allen's workload has begun to increase in recent weeks, and may not die down in the near future. Allen has won three of his last five starts, posting a .936 save percentage during that stretch.

Allen stopped 17 of 18 shots Thursday in a 4-1 win over Calgary. The Blues' skaters put a whopping 42 shots on Jonas Hiller on the other end while largely keeping the Flames far away from Allen. While he's seen limited action, Allen has been a generally reliable option between the pipes whenever he does get the call over Brian Elliott.

Allen is slated to start Thursday's game against the Flames, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Allen will get the team's starting nod Thursday, with Brian Elliott having dropped his last four decisions. Allen was victorious in his last turn for the Blues, stopping 24 of 26 shots in a 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins on March 24.

Allen saved 24 of 26 shots Tuesday in a 3-2 overtime victory against the Penguins. He gave up the game's two goals in a 17-second span during the second period, but locked things down thereafter while St. Louis was able to mount a comeback, which Alex Steen finished with the game-winner in overtime. Allen's now started consecutive games over Brian Elliott, and he's played well, but it's hard to imagine that he's truly pushing Elliott to the side. Both goalies have had their share of inconsistency, but Allen's has arguably been worse.

Allen is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Penguins, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports. Allen, who allowed two goals on 25 shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to Detroit, will be making his second straight start for the Blues, on the heels of taking over for Brian Elliott, who was pulled from Saturday's loss to the Wild.

Allen allowed two goals on 25 shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Red Wings. It was a solid outing for Allen, but he's now picked up the loss in three of his last four starts. Even after Sunday, the 24-year-old still sports an impressive 18-6-4 record, 2.46 GAA, and .906 save percentage. He's been fairly reliable when called upon, but Brian Elliott will see the majority of the starts down the stretch, so Allen likely won't get the nod too many more times this season.

Allen came on in relief of Brian Elliott on Saturday stopping 10 of 12 shots he faced against the Wild. The Blues took a 6-3 loss in the contest. Allen is scheduled to get the start Sunday against Detroit.

Allen will be in the cage for Sunday's game against the Red Wings, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Allen was due to get a start for one half of the Blues' weekend back-to-back set, and coach Ken Hitchcock decided to save the netminder for Detroit due to Brian Elliott's strong career numbers against the Wild. After rough showings his previous two turns, Allen appeared to get back on track his last time out Mar. 15 against the Stars, denying all 28 shots he faced to claim his fourth shutout of the season.

Allen stopped all 28 shots he faced in Sunday's shutout win over Dallas. A good bounce-back outing from Allen, who had given up nine goals in his last two appearances. The 24-year-old advances to 18-6-3 on the season with a .906 save percentage and 2.46 GAA. While it was a great outing for Allen, Brian Elliott is the starter in St. Louis and Allen likely won't see much more action down the stretch.
