Allen stopped 22 of 23 shots in Tuesday's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
A good bounce-back for Allen, who had been torched for seven goals in his last two outings. The 25-year-old is now 12-6-2 on the season with a .924 save percentage and 2.17 GAA. He's been good enough this season to be worth starting every night he gets the nod.

Allen will be in net Tuesday against the Coyotes, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen is coming off a pair of shaky outings, allowing three goals before being pulled last Tuesday and surrendering four in a loss to the Maple Leafs on Saturday, but he's been so good otherwise that it's easy to write those two off. He'll look to get back on track Tuesday against an Arizona squad that averages 2.74 goals per game.

Allen made 25 saves in 4-1 loss to Toronto on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
His club started off strong, but then seemed to slip into a pattern of non-Ken Hitchcock type play, leaving Allen alone in the net. Allen hasn't received a lot of scoring support from his team of late, but he's also allowed 12 goals in his last four games. That's a bad combination right now.

Allen will start on Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was yanked on Tuesday after two periods against the Panthers and Brian Elliot will get the start Friday against the Islanders, leaving Allen with the back-end of the back-to-back. Allen has a 2.13 goals against average with a .926 save percentage this season and Tuesday's mistakes are nothing more than a blip on the radar.

Allen gave up three goals on 15 shots and was pulled prior to the start of the third period Tuesday against Florida.
EDGE Analysis
After Allen allowed all three of those tallies in the final eight minutes of the second frame, Blues coach Ken Hitchcock decided to go with Brian Elliott. Allen's season ratios are still shiny, but he's been awfully inconsistent lately -- over his last nine starts, the 25-year-old's posted sub-.900 save marks six times. Elliott hasn't been so good himself, but he was perfect in relief Tuesday, and it's not inconceivable that the Blues could turn to the veteran for Friday's game against the Isles.

Allen will be in net Tuesday against the Panthers, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has established himself as the lead man in net and comes in with four wins in his last six starts -- allowing two or fewer goals in each of the victories. The 25-year-old boasts an impressive 2.04 GAA and .930 save percentage and will draw a Panthers club that has averaged a middling 2.52 goals per game.

Allen allowed just a single goal Saturday in a 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
He has four wins in his last six games and his record stands at 11-4-2 with three shutouts. Allen was the goalie of the future in St. Lewis, but the 25-year-old is the goalie of now. He's a solid activation.

Allen will be in net Saturday, facing shots from the Blue Jackets at home, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has only seen the Blue Jackets three times in his career, having posted a 1-1-0 record, 3.16 GAA and .877 save percentage against them. Those numbers are poor, but Allen has been hard to solve this campaign based on a 2.10 GAA and .928 save percentage which ranks ninth and seventh respectively.

Allen rejected 30 of 34 shots and was handed a 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins on Wednesday night.
EDGE Analysis
Allen had problems solving a few of the Pens' best players Wednesday. He was beaten twice by Sidney Crosby in regulation -- once while the Blues were shorthanded -- and Evgeni Malkin showed him up with a slick goal in the 3-on-3 overtime frame. It's the second overtime loss for Allen in his past three starts but his rate stats (2.10 GAA, .928 save percentage) rank 10th and eighth respectively.

Allen will be in the crease in Wednesday's game against the Penguins, NHL.com's Lou Korac reports.
EDGE Analysis
Allen has played well of late, posting a 3-0-1 record with a 2.16 GAA and .917 save percentage in his last four appearances. He'll look to secure a second straight win Wednesday against a Penguins club that has been surprisingly poor offensively this season, averaging just 2.20 goals scored per game, fourth worst in the NHL.
