Lack allowed four goals on 31 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been a part of three overtime games in March, averaging a paltry .891 save percentage and allowing all three to slip away. Overall, the netminder is 2-1-3 during the month, giving up 17 goals and unfortunately lacking the offensive support in the process -- not surprising for the 25th-ranked Carolina attack.

Lack is the confirmed home starter against the Islanders on Saturday night.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was a busy man over his last two starts, halting 86 of 92 shots between the Penguins and Blue Jackets, respectively. Fantasy owners of Lack will welcome that many shots, provided the defense isn't leaky. Carolina is slightly below average in that department as it runs the 18th ranked defense in the NHL, whereas the Islanders are 11th in both offensive and defensive measures.

Lack stopped 42 of 44 shots he faced in a 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Lack, who had won only one game in his last five, was solid in this one. The Blue Jackets peppered Lack all night, who stood tall and finished the game with a .955 save percentage. At this point, the Hurricanes aren't playing for anything but pride, but Lack is looking to make a name for himself and be named the starter next season.

Lack gets the starting nod against Columbus on Thursday, Mike Maniscalco of 99.9 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack's start continues the two and two rotation currently be utilized by coach Bill Peters. The netminder has grabbed just one win in his last five outings while logging a 2.78 save percentage. At this point in the season, both teams are likely just playing for pride, although the 28-year-old will want to impress at the end of the season in hopes of earning more ice time next year. Lack will have a chance to make that good impression against a Blue Jackets squad that is averaging only 2.53 goals per night.

Lack made 44 saves against the Penguins on Thursday, but was also stuck with four goals and the loss.
EDGE Analysis
You can hardly blame Lack for taking this loss against a Pittsburgh team that put nearly 50 shots on him, with Sidney Crosby and Phil Kessel accounting for three of the goals. Still, the 28-year-old Swede has allowed 10 goals over his last three starts -- all losses.

Lack will be in the crease in Thursday's road matchup with Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was sharp in his last start Tuesday against the Capitals, stopping 29 of 31 shots, but ultimately suffered a tough 2-1 overtime loss due to a lack of goal support. He'll look to pick up his 12th win of the season Thursday in a tough road matchup with a Penguins team averaging 3.03 goals per game at home this season, seventh in the NHL.

Lack stopped 29 of the 31 shots he faced in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Despite taking the tough loss, it was a great performance from Lack, who kept the potent Capitals quiet for much of the game. A Justin Williams tally in the second period and an Alex Ovechkin strike in the extra time were the only negatives for Lack. He kept his team in the game, stopping several quality Washington scoring chances. Unfortunately, the Hurricanes don't often offer their goalie much in the way of goal support.

Lack will start Tuesday evening against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Lack's ridden the pine for three consecutive games and nine of the last 12, but he'll give Cam Ward a break in this one. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old Swede draws a Washington team that's riding high atop the NHL leaderboard thanks in no small part to an explosive offense. That makes it quite the gamble to deploy Lack and the .903 save mark he carries into Tuesday's game.

Lack made 26 saves, but came up the loser in overtime against the Lightning on Saturday night. He allowed four goals.
EDGE Analysis
Lack made several sharp saves Saturday and was able to get his team a single point from the game. That's more than Cam Ward has done lately -- he hasn't won since Feb. 23. Lack could be in line for a bit more game action over the rest of the season. He'd be a worthy play if his mates figure out how to tickle the twine a little more.

Lack will defend the goal Saturday night against the Lightning.
EDGE Analysis
Lack is set to face the hottest team in the Eastern Conference in the Lightning; The Bolts have won eight straight games and seemingly have a great chance of downing the Hurricanes on Saturday. After all, the Bolts have a plus-0.62 goal differential in this matchup and Lack hasn't inspired much confidence on the road with a 2.69 GAA in 16 games away from Carolina.
