Lack stopped all seven shots he faced in relief Sunday night in a 4-0 loss to the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Lack seemed sharper Sunday than he did in his Tuesday return from a concussion. He has the potential to steal starts and drive fantasy value prior to season's end, so check your wire. Lack might be lurking there.

Lack gave up five goals on 28 shots while his team got shut out by the Capitals on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was not exactly set up to succeed in his first game back from a lengthy concussion absence, as he had to face a first-place Washington team that's been firing on all cylinders. Considering those circumstances, the game went rather predictably. The numbers Lack has put up in his limited sample of NHL action this year have been absolutely atrocious -- we're talking about an .848 save percentage to accompany a 4.04 GAA here. It's hard to imagine the 'Canes will be in a rush to get him back out there.

Lack will make his first start since Nov. 6 against host Washington on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Lack returns from a 39-game injury layoff due to a concussion after completing a conditioning assignment in the AHL. The Swede is bound to be a cheap option in daily fantasy leagues due to his lack of starts this season (four). Still, we'd exercise caution as the Hurricanes face off against the Capitals -- currently the winningest team in the league.

Lack was called up from AHL Charlotte on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old stopped 59 of 62 shots in two AHL games on his conditioning stint, so he was surprisingly sharp considering he missed almost four months with a concussion. It's possible he takes a bit of a step back when he makes the jump to the NHL, but his performance in the minors is a good sign of things to come.

Lack (concussion) was sent to AHL Charlotte to begin a rehab assignment on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The goaltender has missed the last 34 games, and will need some time to get back up to speed after dealing with a serious concussion. His stats in the AHL and his first games back in the NHL will determine whether he is worth snagging in season-long fantasy leagues.

Lack (concussion) took part in Monday's practice, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
It is a good sign for Lack that he was able to participate in a full team practice, however; fantasy owners will want to wait to make sure he doesn't suffer another setback before re-inserting him into their lineups. With starter Cam Ward on a four-game winning streak and showing little to no signs of fatigue, the Canes will likely take their time easing Lack back into action.

According to coach Bill Peters, Lack (concussion) took a step back in his recovery back on Dec. 28, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been out of action since mid-November due to this concussion. Between the injury and the performance of Cam Ward earlier in the year, Lack has made just five appearances this season, posting a 3.78 GAA in those outings. Considering the uncertain nature of the netminder's timeline, as well as his position as the No. 2 in Carolina, fantasy owner may want to consider other options in goal, if they haven't already.

Lack (concussion) is listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has no timetable for his return, and the Hurricanes will undoubtedly tread carefully considering that this is the backstop's second concussion this season. Taking his spot on the active roster is veteran puck plugger Michael Leighton, though he rarely gets used as the No. 2 man behind Cam Ward.

Lack was diagnosed with a concussion Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
While a timetable for Lack's return has not been established as of yet, it wouldn't be surprising to see him miss a decent chunk of time considering this is the second concussion he has suffered this season and these types of injuries can sometimes lead to very lengthy absences. Expect an update on the backstop's status once he appears to be nearing a return.

Lack (illness) will not be on the bench for Tuesday's matchup with the Devils, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was undergoing further tests Monday and while no details have been released regarding the nature of his illness, it is certainly not a good sign for fantasy owners that Daniel Altshuller has been recalled from the minors. Even once he is cleared, Lack will likely spend the bulk of the season behind Cam Ward and probably should not be relied upon for consistent starting time.
