Lack will take his place between the pipes Thursday against the Blues, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Lack hasn't been good in net this season, his past track record against the Blues (5-0 record with a 1.74 GAA and .935 save percentage) has earned the netminder another start. He'll look to keep his clean record against the Blues on Thursday, facing a club averaging 2.50 goals per game in January.

Lack allowed three goals on just 21 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss in Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
Lack's lackluster performance against his former team cost Carolina the game, as the Canucks triumphed despite being out-shot 28-21. With a 2.96 GAA and .890 save percentage, Lack is giving the Hurricanes plenty of reasons to reduce his role, but he continues to split time with Cam Ward for now.

Lack set aside 19 of 21 shots Saturday, but was beaten by Predators defenseman Mattias Ekholm in overtime.
EDGE Analysis
Lack continues to play well as of late, with a save percentage north of .900 in each of the last three starts. He's likely to continue playing second fiddle to Cam Ward, and if the first half of the season is any indication, Lack will be sent between the pipes about once every three games.

Lack owns a 2.95 GAA and .908 save percentage in four career games against the visiting Predators. He has wins in four of the last five games, but just five on the season.

Lack stopped 30 of 32 shots in a 4-2 win against the Capitals on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Make that two wins in a row against quality opponents for Lack, who backstopped the Canes to a win over the Blackhawks on Sunday. He now owns a 5-6-2 record, with four of his five wins coming in the month of December. With this sudden resurgence, Lack has likely earned himself at least a timeshare in goal alongside fellow netminder Cam Ward. Lack's next chance to man the pipes will come Saturday at home against the Predators.

Lack will protect the net in Thursday's game against the Capitals.
EDGE Analysis
Lack posted a solid effort in his last start against the Blackhawks, allowing just one goals on 36 shots to earn his fourth win of the season. The season as a whole has been a bit of a disappointment for the 27-year-old netminder, he'll look to continue the turnaround Wednesday against a Capitals club scoring 2.83 goals per game in December.

Lack came three seconds away from notching his first shutout of the season, but allowed a goal on 36 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was the only thing standing between the Blackhawks and a win with the Swedish goaltender coming out on top for a change. Don't get used to these types of games though, as Lack hasn't been consistent enough to trust on most nights that he does play.

Lack will start in net Sunday against the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Lack hasn't started in net since Dec. 15, but will get an opportunity to do so Sunday in the second game of a back-to-back set for the Hurricanes. He'll face a Blackhawks team scoring 2.95 goals per game at home this season, with Corey Crawford opposing him in net.

Lack gave up four goals for the second straight start Tuesday, stopping 27 in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a rough year for Lack, who clearly isn't loving life in Carolina; he's now lost nine of his 12 decisions while posting some of the worst ratios in the league. Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, but fortunately for Lack, Cam Ward has been nearly equally awful, so he won't be totally marginalized. Either way, neither goalie brings much fantasy value to the table.
