Lack will start in net Tuesday night with the Blackhawks in town.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been terribly inconsistent over his past five starts. He worked a shutout against the Leafs on Jan. 21, but that was sandwiched by performances against the Penguins and Rangers in which he yielded a total of nine goals. The Swedish goalie has a tough task ahead of him as he'll try to slow a Blackhawks squad that currently owns a plus-30 goal differential and is scoring at a rate of three goals per game in January.

Lack stopped 33 of 35 shots in Sunday's win over the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was spotted a 3-0 lead early in this one, and used the support to nab his second win in his last three starts. The 28-year-old has been totally hit or miss since taking over the lead role with Cam Ward dealing with a concussion, as he's allowed three total goals in his last three wins against a combined nine in two losses.

Lack will protect the net Sunday against the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been blown up in two of his last three contests, but sandwiched between them is a shutout of the Maple Leafs. He'll look for another strong outing Sunday, but faces a tough challenge against a Calgary club ranking fourth in scoring this month at 3.13 goals per game.

Lack gave up four goals on 32 shots in a 4-1 home loss to the Rangers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Less than 24 hours removed from a clutch 32-save shutout over the Maple Leafs, Lack laid an egg in this one, allowing a pair of goals in each of the first two periods. He has just seven wins in 20 appearances this year in addition to dreadful numbers (.896 save percentage, 2.85 GAA), so even if he's seeing the lion's share of the Carolina crease time with Cam Ward (concussion) out, he makes for a risky play most nights. Proceed with caution.

Lack will be in the crease in Friday's game against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was perfect in his last outing, stopping all 32 shots he faced en route to a 1-0 shutout victory over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. He'll look to keep rolling Friday in a tough matchup with a Rangers team averaging 2.83 goals per game this season, sixth in the NHL.

Lack turned aside all 32 shots the Leafs put on net and finally got a goal of support in overtime to take home a 1-0 win Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
With Cam Ward concussed, Lack stepped in as the starter Sunday in Pittsburgh and got throttled for five goals, but he bounced back against admittedly inferior competition in this one. Lack's inconsistency and stretches of outright awful play have left him with hideous numbers so far, but perhaps his first shutout of the season as well as the confidence of being Carolina's No. 1 netminder (for now) will give him a boost. Don't get too excited, but don't dismiss him out of hand either -- there's plenty of talent here.

Lack will protect the net Thursday night against the Maple Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
Cam Ward is Carolina's No. 1 goalie, but he went on injured reserve Wednesday with a concussion. This affords Lack the chance to improve upon his poor rate stats which include a 2.97 GAA and .891 save percentage through 18 appearances. Given that Toronto averages 31.3 shots on goal per game, seventh most in the NHL, Lack could be in for a busy night.

Lack allowed five goals on 32 shots in Sunday's loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
It was the second start in three games for Lack, but this one was an uninspiring outing, as he surrendered a goal less than four minutes in and never got the offensive support to overcome it. The 28-year-old will continue to spell Cam Ward, but his rate stats on the season make him a riskier streaming option.

Lack will be between the pipes for Sunday's game against the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
It will mark the fourth appearance of 2016 for Lack, who has shown improvement lately with a 1-1-1 record, 1.98 GAA, and .909 save percentage in his prior three contests. Even so, his ratios for the season remain mostly uninspiring, which has prevented him from unseating Cam Ward for the top spot on the Hurricanes' depth chart at goalie.

Lack stopped 23 of 24 shots Thursday in a 4-1 road win over St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Lack's had a tough season, but for some reason, he's always played well against the Blues -- he's now 6-0 in his career against them, allowing just 10 goals in those games. Unfortunately, this game represents just the third time in 15 starts this season that Lack has put together a one-goal effort; he's been giving up nearly three per game on average. Cam Ward will most likely be back between the pipes when the Canucks come to town Friday.
