Lack will get the start Monday in Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has been an enormous disappointment in Raleigh this season after excelling in Ryan Miller's absence for the Canucks last season. Monday will be only the sixth start of the season for Lack, which is simply because he cannot be trusted to perform by head coach Bill Peters. One should tread lightly when thinking of using Lack in any fantasy format, but Monday could be a chance to get his season moving in the right direction. Lack will face shots from a struggling Flyers squad that has been shutout in their last two games.

Lack gave up three goals on 19 shots in a 4-1 loss to Anaheim on Monday. The fourth was an empty-netter.
EDGE Analysis
Lack's woes continue, as he's still stuck on one win this season, due mostly in part to his horrendous numbers (3.37 GAA, .861 save percentage) in five games played. The Hurricanes are likely to be in the basement of the East for most of the season, so it's nearly impossible to recommend Lack even for spot starts behind veteran starter Cam Ward, who's been marginally better with a 2.52 GAA and .898 save percentage in 14 appearances of his own.

Lack will start in net Monday against the Ducks, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has taken a clear back seat to Cam Ward in the crease at this point, receiving just four starts so far this season. He'll return to the net Monday for the first time in five games, looking to improve on his 1-3 record, 3.46 GAA and .865 save percentage against a Ducks team that has struggled mightily to score on the road this season.

Lack gave up three goals on 28 shots in a loss to the Stars on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Stars have a very good offense, but that doesn't make up for the fact that he currently has three losses in his four games and has a 3.46 GAA. There's a reason Cam Ward is getting the bulk of the starts.

Lack will start in goal Friday night versus the Stars.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has made three starts this campaign and he's been beatable, yielding a total of nine goals on 61 shots after dates with the Panthers, Sharks and Islanders respectively. It's a small sample size, but Lack clearly needs to get back on track as he owns a 3.61 GAA this season compared to a 2.47 GAA through 85 career appearances as the netminder for the Canucks the past two years and the Hurricanes in 2015-16.

Lack got his first win in a Hurricanes sweater, stopping 17 of 19 shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win against the Islanders.
EDGE Analysis
Lack allowed four goals on 13 shots last Saturday against the Sharks, so it was a good sign for coach Bill Peters that he got the win Thursday. Credit goes to Carolina's defense that stifled an Islanders team that entered the game averaging 31.4 shots per game. Lack still has a lot of work to do in order to earn more starts, but this was a step in the right direction.

Lack will be the starting netminder in Thursday evening's game against the Islanders, Arthur Staple of Newsday Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack has posted some pretty poor statistics in filling in for Cam Ward this season, totaling a .833 save percentage and 4.77 GAA in the two games he has started. These numbers are not at all in line with how he played in Vancouver the past two seasons though, so it could just be an early-season aberration. He'll face a stiff test in this game on the road against an Islanders team that has scored 31 goals in just nine contests.

Lack was pulled Saturday against the Sharks after giving up four goals on 19 shots.
EDGE Analysis
Cam Ward has seen all the action so far this season and Lack has not fared well in his two appearances. The 27-year-old is sporting a .833 save percentage and 4.77 GAA thus far and simply needs to be better if he hopes to steal any crease time away from the veteran Ward this season.

Lack will be in the crease in Saturday's game against the Sharks, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lack was lackluster in his first start of the season on Oct. 13 against the Panthers, allowing three goals on 29 shots. He will look to bounce back in a decent matchup Saturday against a Sharks team that has averaged 2.43 goals scored per game thus far this season.

Making his season debut, Lack gave up three goals on 29 shots in Tuesday's loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
After Cam Ward lost ugly in the Hurricanes' last game, they turned to Lack in an effort to avoid an 0-3 start, but it didn't work out that way. Still, Lack made his share of strong stops and should continue seeing semi-regular action in a timeshare with Ward until one or the other can get hot and pull away.
