Lack will protect the net in Thursday's game against the Capitals.

Lack posted a solid effort in his last start against the Blackhawks, allowing just one goals on 36 shots to earn his fourth win of the season. The season as a whole has been a bit of a disappointment for the 27-year-old netminder, he'll look to continue the turnaround Wednesday against a Capitals club scoring 2.83 goals per game in December.
