Craig Anderson made 31 saves in the Senators' 3-1 Game 2 loss Friday night against the Canadiens.
Even though it was a much lower workload (50 shots to 34), Anderson didn't have as good a night as he did in Game 1. He gave up all three goals on 10 shots in the second period. In 15 career playoff games, Anderson has a 2.32 goals-against average and .934 save percentage. The series shifts to Scotiabank Place tied up at one game apiece.

Craig Anderson made a whopping 48 saves for Ottawa in a 4-2 win over the Canadiens in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference playoff series.
If not for the midseason ankle injury he suffered Anderson would likely be the favorite to win the Vezina Trophy this year so we're certainly not surprised by this exceptional performance. They may have been underdogs entering the series, but knowledgeable fans already knew the Senators would be a tough one for Montreal.

Craig Anderson will enter the 2013 playoffs seeking his first series victory.
In his previous two postseason appearances, he lost a six-game series with the Colorado Avalanche in 2009 and he dropped a seven-game series to the New York Rangers last year with Ottawa. Anderson has a .933 save percentage and a 2.29 GAA in 13 playoff contests, which are impressive statistics. If Ottawa is going to advance past Montreal then he will have to be at his best again and he has the tools and the experience to steal games.

Craig Anderson allowed just one goal on 20 shots in the Senators' 2-1 overtime win over the Capitals.
As he has been when healthy all season, Anderson was stellar in this contest. The Senators have clinched a playoff spot and with their number one goaltender in fine form they are a dangerous opponent.

Craig Anderson was saddled with the loss Monday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Anderson made 21 saves in Ottawa's 3-1 loss against a Pittsburgh squad that was missing Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, James Neal and Kris Letang. However, Anderson has been good since returning from an injury and is a must-start down the stretch. If not for the time he missed he would likely be in the Vezina Trophy conversation this season.

Craig Anderson will play between the pipes on Monday.
Anderson will face the Pittsburgh Penguins, minus Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, James Neal, Beau Bennett, Kris Letang, and Paul Martin. Even with that many players on the sidelines, the Penguins are still a dangerous team. After all, they've proven that they can win with or without most of their top players.

Craig Anderson will play between the pipes on Saturday.
Anderson has a 1.61 GAA and .937 save percentage in five starts since returning from an ankle injury. The injury has limited him to 20 starts thus far, which will probably cost him the Vezina Trophy, but he's the clear league leader in both GAA and save percentage this season.
